Third age range legs are a member's only piece of third age armour that are part of the Third age ranger set. To wear the legs the player needs at least 40 Defence and 65 Ranged. To obtain third age range legs the player can either complete a Level 3 Treasure trail (The chance of receiving a 3rd age piece is 1 in 10,000 according to Paul Gower), trade with another player, or purchase them from The Grand Exchange. It cannot be made using the Crafting skill. It is rarely used due to its high price. It is mostly used to show wealth, as its stats are almost identical to the Black d'hide chaps .

[edit] Trivia

• Like many other Ranged Platelegs, these are in the form of a Plateskirt, with Platelegs underneath.
• Ironically, despite being very expensive and a very rare, it's ranged attack bonus is the same as a black d'hide chaps, but its Summoning defence bonus is inferior by 5 and its Magic defence bonus is superior by 2.
