[edit] The Giant Dwarf

The dwarves of Keldagrim opened up their city for the first time since the God Wars. The quest starts when you enter the city. You see a cutscene where you break the statue of King Alvis, a dwarven king who lived 500 years ago. You have to repair the statue requiring some clothes, an axe and some boots. The new rulers of the city, the mining Consortium, decides the Age of Kings is over and lets the player choose whose head comes on top of the statue. The player can choose any company except The Red Axe, because they don't accept humans (and The Yellow Fortune or The Brown Engine depending on their gender). After doing some work for a company, you may join them and even go with them to a consortium meeting.

[edit] Forgettable Tale of a Drunken Dwarf

Hreidmar, the leader of The Red Axe is furious because his head wasn't placed on the statue. So he decided to leave the city. Commander Veldaban, the head of the Black Guard wants you to find out what his further plans are. The only clue you have is a drunken dwarf. You need to make some Kelda Stout for him. You need to find for his friends to get Kelda seeds. Once you have four, you can farm them into Kelda hops, which can be brewed into the Stout. The drunken dwarf leads you to a boarded up Mine cart trail. There is a mine cart puzzle. After this one is completed, the player sees a conversation between Hreidmar, an Ogre shaman and a henchman. You find out The Red Axe paid the boatman to crash into the statue of the giant dwarf. After another puzzle, you land into a storeroom where you find some interesting documents. And after a last puzzle, you will see an army of Chaos Dwarves. You want to return to Veldaban, but the shaman puts a curse on you, so you forget everything you saw.

[edit] Forgiveness of a Chaos Dwarf

Forgiveness of a Chaos Dwarf starts with the you going to talk to Commander Veldaban to see if he has any quests for you. He then tells you that more and more people are missing from Keldagrim. After talking, you then suggests that the Red Axe may be behind the missing people, but was interrupted by a Black Guard that informs the Commander that the Chaos Dwarfs are attacking the watchtower. Commander Veldaban and you then hurry to the watchtower to defeat the remaining Chaos Dwarf. The Chaos Dwarf drops a Grand Exchange request slip and you discuss it with Commander Veldagram. He tells you to go to the Grand Exchange to ask about this request. When you asked about the slip, you receive a package with some seemingly random and useless items in it. When you return to Keldagrim, you find Commander Veldaban drinking in a bar in the Keldagrim East. He says that he is angry because he has been taken off the investigation of the missing dwarfs due to the fact that the all the dwarves missing are from Keldagrim East (The East is where all the poor lives, all those who are rich enough moved to the west, so what happened to the poor really doesn't concern those who are live in Keldagrim West). You talk to the commander about the random items in the package when the ales he took finally made him drunk and he decides to confront the Supreme Commander Bisi.

After a petty heated argument, Commander Veldaban went to bed and fell asleep so you have to figure out the secret link between the recent Chaos Dwarf activities and missing dwarves. You investigated the area around the watchtower and coincidentally, all items from the package helps you to find and track down clues, eventually leading you to a secret mining cart station. You decided to go back to the commander and solve the maze with him. You and the Commander got to the other side of the maze, revealing all those missing dwarves, and set them free, but one of the dwarves refused to leave until you find her husband, which was captured from the prison by Chaos Dwarves. Through a tunnel, you two arrived at the Red Axe Machine Room, just in time to see the dwarves' husband being hypnotised, physically turned into a Chaos Dwarf by a Gnomic Machine, eventually being armoured, and becoming another normal Chaos Dwarf. Commander Veldaban screamed "Hilda!", which blew both of your covers, resulting in you and the Commander being spotted. After hiding in a safe room, Commander Veldaban tells you about him and his (not mentioned, but obvious) love interest Hilda stumbled in here searching for her brother and while Commander's memory was washed, Hilda became into a Chaos Dwarf. Using another tool from the package, now obviously ordered by Hilda, you and the commander managed to find another escape route out of the Machine Room. You then immediately hurried to the Consortium to reported the situation.  The Supreme Commander and the others refused to believe you and a furious Veldaban quits his job. He now tries to plot a defense against the upcoming Chaos Dwarf attack.

[edit] Later quests

Jagex has revealed that the Rise of the Red Axe quest series will be a five quest storyline.

The fifth instalment is planned to have a rank of Grandmaster.

The quest requirements for these quests are unknown but we know that there will be a high requirement for the Grandmaster quest as it is a Grandmaster Quest.
