The Varrock Teleport is a Teleportation spell in the normal magic spellbook. It teleports the caster to the Varrock market square. Like most teleports, it does not work past level 20 in the Wilderness. This spell requires 1 Law rune, 1 Fire rune and 3 Air runes with a level of 25 in Magic to cast. Casting this spell gives you 35 experience.

If you are a member and have completed all of the easy Varrock Tasks, you have the option of teleporting to the south entrance of the Grand Exchange. After the Elite tasks you may also change the teleport to nearby the church. To change your teleport location, talk to:

• Rat Burgiss if you’ve completed the easy tasks
• Reldo if you’ve completed the medium tasks
• Vannaka if you’ve completed the hard tasks, note that NPC Contact does not work for this purpose.

This will also affect your teleport tablets, as well as the portals and scrying pools in your house. You can change your teleport location back to the original spot in the Varrock Square by talking to the appropriate person again. If you teleport position has been changed from the town square in Varrock you will not teleport there in a non members world, you will simply go to the town square.

Another useful way to get to Varrock, without using any runes or money, is to use the Canoe system. Simply teleport to Lumbridge and go north. If you don't have an axe, you can claim a free one from Bob (though the NPC next to the canoe log will loan you a hatchet if you do not have one). Choose the Edgeville option in the Canoe menu, Then use the shortcut to the Grand Exchange or walk around.

Remember, you cannot use Ancient Magicks or Lunar Spells if you are using regular Magic.
