Teleport to House teleports the caster inside their player-owned house, right next to the exit portal (or within the house), regardless of the 'location' of the house (Rimmington, Taverley, Brimhaven, etc.).
When adventuring, a player could bring runes or tablets for this spell to guard against dying from poison and fully heal themselves instead. Dying in a player-owned house will cause the player to respawn outside the house portal, NOT lose any items, and have all stats restored to default levels.
Teleport to House costs 200 coins for each cast with all the runes above;
187 coins when using staves supplying air runes,
192 coins when using staves supplying earth runes,
189 coins when using dust runes,
A teleport tablet costs 731 coins.
- When casting the teleport to house spell (not using a tablet), the animation seems a lot faster than usual. It is unknown if this is a glitch. You still arrive at the same time, though. The animation is just faster (at least 2x). This may be to cut down on the time of entering your house, as it needs to load.
- At one time there was a bug in which Teleport to House would consume two dust runes if the caster had more than one dust rune in his or her inventory. This glitch has been fixed.
- The Teleport to House tablet is very often used in the Wilderness because of its ability to prevent death when teleported. For example, sometimes when you teleport to Lumbridge you may die there, but using the teleport to house when you teleport you will not die; you will simply just be outside of your POH.
- As of the troll warzone update, teleporting to a house in Taverley will bring you too far south, so that the portal is off the minimap. This has yet to be fixed. However, Teleport to House tablets teleport to directly in front of the house portal.
