How long does vengence last? Is it just the first hit or does it have a duration of a couple seconds or something?

Agreed... I had no idea what it ment for the longest time. Perhaps, "Once Vengeance is casted, the next time damage is inflicted to the player, 75% of that damage is also hit to whatever hit the player." Mjc3 23:52, 25 October 2008 (UTC)

Does the spell inflict random events that cannot be fought back (eg. Swarm, Drunken Dwarf)? Currently the article says any damage caused to the player will be vengeaged. ^Play 11:00, 24 January 2009 (UTC)

vengeance hits a recoil damage of up to 75% not always 75% so i edited the page to say up to so that it wasn't misleading

Way to cast it twice within 30 seconds Edit

Is there a way to cast the spell twice within 30 seconds? It's done in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lk_zJHCeUHc and I'm wondering how he did it, or if somehow the video is fake then.

does vengeance work on monsters?

Idk, but if it did, I dont know why people wont use it on Dharok at Barrows.

I would think that the players who actually have the level for it can kill Dharok more efficiently without the spell. Vengeance -is- a relatively high-level spell, so the players who have it would normally have better options (e.g. melee, slayer dart, ancients, salamanders, etc) for killing Dharok, since their combats are probably also high. With the above methods, you would only need about one prayer potion to kill Dharok. If you take the damage so veng activates, you would need to use up to three pieces of food just to heal off the damage if you don't want to pray against the other brothers. Only using one inventory space is much better than using up two or three, especially if you do multiple barrow runs in one trip. Vengeance works for PKing because you can easily bank after each kill if you wished in a short amount of time. The same cannot be said for barrows.--Oniplayer 18:33, July 26, 2010 (UTC)

Ring of Recoil Edit

If you have the power of vengeance and are wearing a ring of recoil and take damage will both the ring and vengeance reflect damage or would vengeance have a higher priority over the ring and activate by itself do to the game not being able to do both at the same time or something? Wearing off upon logout Edit

I cast vengeance last night during Barbarian Assault for fun. This morning, after logging back in, I got hit by something and the Vengeance was apparently still active. Are we sure that it wears off upon logging out? 98.249.218.100 20:58, August 2, 2012 (UTC)
