[edit] Merger with Cultural references
The trivia here about the reference to "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz" (under Back to my Roots) might be more appropriate listed under Cultural references. Since this might not be an isolated example, I wonder whether Trivia and Cultural references might be better merged.
Conversely, perhaps they should be kept apart, with Trivia listing notable points about the game in itself, and Cultural references listing references to films, comedy sketches, etc. Would this be a workable distinction?

- Don't merge but clean up: a cultural reference is a kind of trivia, but trivia isn't necessarily a cultural reference, so I suppose we could make sure that trivia contains all trivia except cultural references, and cultural references contains only cultural references (this last point seems to be the case already). Or we could just merge all into trivia, but I don't like this option as much.

- This article is small, and it could easily be put into the Trivia article as its own section. Or, like Cockroach said, they could be kept seperate but cleaned up and organized. Morian Smith 16:47, 21 January 2008 (UTC)

currently im searching through the wiki pages and building up the trivia page and while there is both the cultural refrances and trivia pages and some things are the same in both, i beleave that they should remain seprate but should have links to both in the opening headline area —Whiteferrett (talk • contribs) forgot to sign this comment on 2007-12-27, 03:06:13.

I'm not too fond of having subpages for mainspace articles. They're supposed to be used mainly for wiki maintenance, like archives. The usual way of doing things is to simply list each "type" with a separate heading, which is more elegant in my opinion; what was the reason this page was split instead? - it was split into sub pages so that there wasnt 100k words on a single page

- True, it would be rather long if all were merged (50KB), but subpages are still something to avoid IMO. I think that if the cultural references were moved to the cultural references page, and the remaining trivia split into two or three general categories with separate pages (not subpages), it would be better than the present arrangement. For example, looking at one of the longer subpages, there could be a page for trivia that is related to how something was before an update. Skill 09:51, 26 March 2008 (UTC)
