use it and lose it?
Edit
after its been used, is it gone for good, or do we get it back? Heavyoak (talk) 04:22, July 7, 2012 (UTC)
- No, you can reclaim it using the keyring, and if somebody finds the treasure, he will get the contents and the chest iteself will be sent to your bank. :Nmdanny (talk) 10:18, July 7, 2012 (UTC)
safety box
Edit
What happens if you try to reopen it yourself? What happens if you destroy the keys? Can we hide our own items from view as a method of security from hacks? Sojurnstrs (talk) 15:21, July 12, 2012 (UTC)
digging priority
Edit
What happens if we put it on a common digging spot, like for treasure trails? :P Sojurnstrs (talk) 15:21, July 12, 2012 (UTC)
Destroying the Treasure chest with an item inside
Edit
To free up back space a while ago I placed my purple sweets, also from the quest, inside the treasure chest. I then forgot about this and to save back space destroyed the treasure chest so it would return to the chest in the Carnillean mansion and I could collect it if I ever found a use for it. I then realised to my dismay that I had left the sweets in it, so I reclaimed the treasure chest and they were still there, I tried this again and there they still remained. I added a line about this to the page but if any of you want to verify it with a low value item go ahead, if it was just a glitch or only works with items also claimed from the quest reward please feel free to edit as needed. Will a buried chest appear on all worlds?
Edit
I got one of these chests from Carnillean Rising. It's kind'a a useless item, but I'd like to put a small prize in it and bury it for someone to find, and then forget about it.
For that rereason, I don't want to set a pin or key. I just want to bury it so that anyone can find it.
If I bury it, will it be in the same spot on all worlds? Or just on the world I buried it on?
I'd also like to bury it somewhere where someone is likely to find it by chance. Any suggestions?
