any information regarding this feature to be used in dungeoneering?

Considering the fact that most tools within dungeoneering are identical to their surface-world counterparts I see no need for there to be any dungeoneering-related info. This update likely won't apply to hatchets and pickaxes as they can be wielded in the weapon slot. 208.90.174.82 18:45, December 2, 2011 (UTC)

Item holders Edit

Has there been any word about what till happen to item holders such as Quest kit and Tackle box when this is releashed? pyrolord 06:19, December 3, 2011 (UTC)

Shear Convenience Edit

When adding a pair of shears to the toolbelt, I completed a task called Shear Convenience and also got a message saying 112,640 coins had been added to my money pouch. Egdcltd 16:39, December 6, 2011 (UTC)

I got over 140k. Apparently, you now automatically get the cash reward for achieving tasks.

Tools (not) lost on death? Edit

I suppose tools are not lost on death (similar to the money pouch)? Doesn't say so on the wiki yet though, anyone who can confirm this?

The tools and the money in the money pouch will be kept when you die. I tested it myself.

Darn... can't store the rock pick, a regular trowel, a flamtaer hammer, or a rod clay mould

Can F2P players store member items? Edit

Xeoxer 21:52, December 7, 2011 (UTC)

They cannot obtain member items, however any member who subsequently becomes a non-member will retain any member items they had stored on it. Ganstaform11 (talk) 01:02, February 26, 2013 (UTC)

Tai Bwo Wannai Cleanup Edit

It appears that the default machete is used if you have a better machete(opal, etc.) in your invantory unless you actually equip it, which means having to switch back and fourth between weapons and machete during combat. Can anyone confirm this?

Before the tool belt, and in it the basic machete, you needed to equip your machete to use it, so it is only logical that you should still have to equip the machete in your inventory to use it.

Value of toolbelt items Edit

Oh ho! Watch prices of these item on GE change in the next few days! I'm selling all my extra "junk" tool collected over the year (dropped) at GE right now! :D (Remember all of them tool will get reduced to 0kg!)--Drixomanbeta 04:58, December 8, 2011 (UTC)

DaemonheimEdit

I get the impression that this will allow some tools to be obsolete in there Extreme133 21:08, December 11, 2011 (UTC)

I aded in that the spade on the toolbelt allows you to enter the mole lair, there is now a left click option to enter. (at least, if you have a spade in your belt there is)

Bug? Edit

Some weeks ago when my free membership from joining expired, my toolbelt was filled upon becoming a free player, even though I had not yet added several of the items to it. I noticed this when buying molds from the shop in Rimmington. Not sure if the switch to free player was the cause of it, but it could be a likely culprit. ~Bobogoobo (talk) 00:14, March 27, 2012 (UTC)

Try reporting it to Jagex on their website. 25px-Logo.svg.png24px-TyA-pony.png 00:20, March 27, 2012 (UTC)
From what I understand, a few weeks ago Jagex added an update which filled everybody's toolbelts with the tools that did not require a quest to use. That's probably the cause ;) Sundays211 04:41, March 30, 2012 (UTC)

Updates to QuestsEdit

Really needs to be a standard format for all the quests on requirements of items that can be used from toolbelt. Perhaps put a toolbelt section in each requirement section or put a note in parentheses by the item like "Hammer (Toolbelt works/Toolbelt does not work)." That's what I suggest...so let's make it happen.

how do u replace tools from ur toolbets. like suppose u wanna replace a bronze hatchet to steel hatchet.

117.192.110.109 13:19, July 12, 2012 (UTC)sohail462

That is only possible within Daemonheim. Normal toolbelt only has bronze hatchet and pickaxe on it. Zamorak staff AnselaJonla Slayer-icon 13:21, July 12, 2012 (UTC)
With the March 2012 update of all non quest required updates, I think we should remove any items required where the toolbelt item works, as it is not necessary to specify or forewarn. Except with picks or axes (possibly) to allow use of a better quality item. Cadatoiva (talk) 03:54, November 27, 2012 (UTC)

better to use toolbelt?Edit

should i use my toolbelts hachet and pick or carry around rune axe and pick? i used to do the latter... and if the toolbelt is better should i sell my axe and pick?

75.4.27.233 18:42, July 19, 2012 (UTC)

A rune pick/hatchet beats a bronze one... but.. if you don't have a pick/hatchet at the ready when you do need it... then your toolbelt can come in handy a lot, esp. at quests. . Yours, Void Knight banner . AddictEnkidu Talk . Quest Icon Crest 18:47, July 19, 2012 (UTC)

High level of WC/Mining...

Can we happen?

What if higher tier pickaxe/hatchet should replace low tier with up to rune hatchet/pickaxe?182.18.209.15 09:30, December 14, 2012 (UTC)

Nerfed F2P Toolbelt Edit

Nerfed F2P Toolbelt -- since the update that added former member content and skills, several items that are now F2P items still appear in the toolbelt as Members-Only, and are inaccessible, even though they are now F2P.

However, when attempting to use them, they still function as intended, even though they do not appear (ie: rake for farming).108.180.18.82 19:56, March 12, 2013 (UTC)Dewdnian

I guess this is one of those rare occasions of Jagex's oversight when making a change like this. Abyssal whip TonyBest100 Bandos chestplate 20:02, March 12, 2013 (UTC)
