- Not completely sure but I think you need the correct Smithing and Magic level to smelt the item with the spell. Cheers,

Didn't know what to think about the splashing considering the invisible message of "april fools" so if that was genuine just revert it back.

OK, got a question. If I'm trying 2 superheat iron and coal into steel bars and I click on the coal, it says, "Please click on an ore" (or something). But I'm worried that if I click on the iron, won't it make iron bars instead? I don't want to test because I've brought exactly enough nats to get to smithing mithril...no spares :( . Please reply!!! ----

if you have coal in your inventory and you click on an iron ore to superheat you will get steel...--AbyssDarkstar 17:09, 21 July 2008 (UTC)
superheating mith isn't too bad right now with only 6 coins lost :0 that means for superheating 400 bars i lose 2400 coins well worth the exp amazing couldn't believe the prices:) Manofflames6 01:20, 13 April 2009 (UTC)

wow, smithing with superheat looks profitable with addy bars a.t.m. ... 23k gp per hour, 61k magic exp and 41k smith exp per hour doesn't seem too bad
