It doesn't work on noted amulets, does it? Mathwhiz90601 04:04, 17 May 2007 (UTC)

Of course it wouldn't, A note is made of paper. Last time I checked, you can't string paper on RuneScape. Blankothe3rd 04:17, 17 May 2007 (UTC)

Are runes used per click of the spell or per amulet? Per amulet I assume, but I want to check. Armadyl helmetKlay KingLXIArmadyl helmet 13:58, July 2, 2010 (UTC)

It's per amulet, you also get the EXP per amulet. Kuma3 18:44, August 21, 2010 (UTC)

Added a calculator for the loss and gp/exp by selling to rogue or through the GE. I'm not quite happy with it, if anyone has any ideas on how to re-format it, I'd like to hear. Kuma3 18:42, August 21, 2010 (UTC)

Does this work on Salve amulets? Nevermind, I'm on my way to test this now.Shinray1kuo 04:23, August 25, 2011 (UTC)

Confirmed. [1] Shinray1kuo 05:32, August 25, 2011 (UTC)

String Jewellery loss can be minimised by buying nature runes and some form of fire staff (I use the Mystic Lava Staff and the Mystic Mud Staff). This gives you bonus experience while keeping most of the money spent. Because of the nature runes, you'll only lose anywhere from 10 to 100 coins, unlike the 100+ coin loss for just stringing the jewellery. Emchantments may also to minimise loss. Use High Alchemy to do this, and High Alchemy is also the best way to earn experience in f2p servers. Therefore, the 2,241 experience per inventory now turns into 3,996 experience per inventory, thanks to the 1,755 experience per inventory with High Alch (this is assuming your only using one inventory space for runes- this can be done by weilding a Mystic Mud Staff for String Jewellery and any fire staff for alching). This method mimises loss and maximises experience gained.
