Talk:Special attacks
From the RuneScape Wiki, the wiki for all things RuneScape
We have this wonderfully complete page with information on the special attacks of weapons. However, the articles about weapons with special attacks don't have this information in them. What should we do to get this information there? Put links on each weapon's page to it's entry in this article, or copy the information from this article onto that weapon's page? Comments would be helpful. -- Couchpotato99 15:53, 25 July 2006 (UTC)
I think that the information should be on both pages. By the way, some screenshots or moving like on Wikipedia would be helpful. Grandadmiralparck 12:41, 22 September 2006 (UTC)
In my opinion, the Bone Dagger special attack picture is a bit unclear. Revise, get rid of picture, something? Guthix Follower (Talk) ~Hiscore!~
- Jpegs, ugh! Can't fix them by making them PNG, as the damage is already done, unless you have the original. Ace of Risk 22:06, 27 January 2007 (UTC)
I don't know the exact figure for the defense boost from Excalibur's special, but it's not 10% : I have 50 def and got 58 after using Excalibur's special Patheticcockroach 15:13, 6 July 2007 (UTC)

The ones that hit multiple targets like the rune throwing axe should really have more then one enemy Xor24 23:15, 9 December 2007 (UTC)
Do the special attacks give XP?
- Yes, unless you hit a zero. Excalibur's, the Rod of Ivandis', the Ivandis flail's, the Dragon spear's, the Dragon battleaxe's and the Zamorackian spear's special attacks do no damage anyway, so no experience.

Should keris be in here? Mjc3 19:17, 11 October 2008 (UTC)
- I don't think so - a special attack is something you activate via clicking the special attack bar on the attack style interface. Keris has a special effect - similar, but is always active under certain circumstances (i.e. when fighting kalphites or scarbarites) - which again is different to barrows set effects, which, as long as you have the armour on, the effect is randomly activated (excpet Dharok's) regardless of monster.
