Futurama reference Edit

On the article page, you guys likened them to the Flood. On this page, someone indicates Futurama. How many possible "references" can we come up with? Yerks? Headcrabs? If you want to, you can go as far back as 1956's Body Snatchers if you want an overt cultural entity to indicate as the inspiration for these things, or push back even farther to old pulp obscura that precisely twelve people in New York actually remember.

They're not references, they're just similar to lots of things you've seen before. When you take any given slice of humanity and give them a weird, aquatic bug-thing with pervasive tentacles and a brainy disposition, someone is going to come up with the old Mind Control trope. At some level, it just resonates.

I'm going to remove the "Possibly a reference to the Flood!" portion from the trivia section in the article.
