It might be that only haystacks in member areas can be used. All the ones I've been able to find around Draynor/Lumbridge just give the standard "Nothing interesting happens". The only working ones I remember offhand are around the farm north of Ardougne. Sableye 05:38, 18 May 2009 (UTC)

Protecting watermelons with scarecrows? Edit

I just planted watermelons in the North Ardougne farming patch for an Ardougne Task. I have a scarecrow planted in the nearby flower patch, and upon using Inspect Watermelons I get this:

This is an allotment. The soil has been treated with supercompost. The patch has something growing in it.

Your scarecrow is protecting these crops from disease.

What gives? Is it really the scarecrow protecting my watermelons?  a proofreader ▸
