Glitches with Rammernaut?
I think there may be some glitches with the Rammernauts...when I was fighting one, he would start his CHARGE! attack by running in the complete opposite direction away from me, usually headlong into a wall. Has anyone else experienced this? Is this normal? Also worthy of note, during the fight my Naive Stormbringer familiar started attacking ME. Can Rammernauts confuse familiars like this, or are there still glitches in the Dungeoneering system? ~~shru~~
the running in the opposite direction is just locical to me, since he'll need some speed to ram you anyways.. or atleast that's what I've figured.. & I've never used a familiar against him so i wouldnt know about the other part.. --TaSManiaC 09:57, April 28, 2010 (UTC)
Yeah, I've noticed how when I stand next to the end-dungeon door, he yells "CHARGE!" and instantly says "oof!" after walking 1 step. 22:33, May 3, 2010 (UTC)
a great solo melee tactic I've worked out is this:
use protect from melee (he'll almost instantly yell "CHARGE!")
then turn your prayer off, run off next to a wall, rince & repeat and he'll most likely not even cause you to need any food.. --TaSManiaC 09:55, April 28, 2010 (UTC)
Has anyone else found this boss to be unreasonably difficult to solo? I'm talking specifically about lag. When there's no lag he's a normal boss. Not too hard to kill if you know the stratergy. But with even half a second of lag he becomes a nightmare. I've also noticed that he, or possibly his room itself seems to CAUSE lag.
