Since we decided that this page was not ready for the Article of the Month, could we remove the Template:Featured? Thanks! Axela40 20:43, January 18, 2011 (UTC)
It will be removed when someone closes the nomination. (; 20:44, January 18, 2011 (UTC)
I found out that nex drops all forms of cut gems, including onyx. Is this true? If it is, I might need some evidence. Sir Fairfang 00:20, February 12, 2011 (UTC)
Just wondering -- What's Nex's monster ID?
I'm not gonna bot it... that would be suicide. Lol.
How to know a monster ID?
What are you gonna do with it other than botting? JOEYTJE50TALK 00:12, March 27, 2011 (UTC)
What do you mean?
I was curious. Would the ID be insanely high because it is a brand new monster? And also, I wanted to see if there were any "coincidences" with the ID. Nex was released on 10/01 and it's CB level is 1001. Any other coincidences?
I mean, how to discover a monster's ID? I've never even heard of a monster ID, so I wonder how to get a monster's ID. Is it set by RuneScape, or by bot creators?
In the RuneScript programming language, JaGEx sets IDs to make things easier for programmers. Lets say a programmer made a chicken. They would have to redo that chicken 5 times in 1 farm. However, with monster IDs, the programmer would only have to literally copy and paste.
And also, you can make yourself look like a monster (only you can see it, everyone else would see your normal character) which I think would make my skilling powerlevel-stages less boring. I thought it would be funny to watch Nex chop wood...
How do you change yourself into a monster??!!?? Candle Max 15:02, June 26, 2011 (UTC)
It's probably against rules, but on bot clients you can see NPC IDs (for example, if you turned yourself into an egg with easter ring that would be something around 3690 (the different colours are different IDs)), and using a cheat device you could change that ID to turn yourself into, say, Captain Korasi, her ID being 7000 (my friend uses bots). Oh, and Nex's ID is 13447, 13448, 13449, and 13450.
I feel the current photo of Nex is, well, atrocious. The angle is horrible and makes her look simply ridiculous. Will it be possible for someone to take a new, better photo, or if not possible, revert to this version?
It's a frontal view, shows her arms, legs, wings, and body armour quite well. Her arms are spread out and she is crouching. almost as if preparing for a powerful special attack; and she looks almost as if she's smiling in the manner one usually does when killing a bug or stamping an ant. Bottom line? It's much better.
I'd do it myself, but I don't know how to. Can someone please change the current photo to something better?
On a drop log of over 1000 kills ancient cerimonial robes were never droped, no one i know has ever seen ancient cerimonial robes from her, pretty sure they are only droped by the mages

It seems to me that the 'Four mages' and 'Battle' sections in hte article on Nex are wholly unnessecary and superfluous; I mean they give absolutely identical information. I tried merging the two sections, but had my changes reverted. The article should be short and consise, having both sections together bogs it down. Can someone please merge the two if they have time?
On another note, the 'Attacks' section describes attacks which have already been covered in the two sections above. How about changing it to 'Other attacks' and only naming those not related to the four sorcerers (her "NO ESCAPE" special, magical drag, etc)?
Thanks and regards. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 218.186.15.10 (talk) on 13:36, August 7, 2011 (UTC).
If nobody does it within a week or so, I'll do it myself. My edit might not be optimal - I remove a lot - and so it might be better if one of you do it. Just saying, if nobody else wants to do it I'll do the changes. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 218.186.15.10 (talk) on 10:13, October 10, 2011 (UTC).
I think they should stay separate as the 4 mages section is more like an overview of the mages, while the battle gives more information about how the act during the fight. Sentra246 10:21, October 10, 2011 (UTC)
But they give EXACTLY the same information. Won't it be better to only list the mages in their section and mention their connection with the stages below or mention all of nex's stages in the mage section and do away with the battle section entirely? the goal is to create a short and concise article rather than the long, rambling, one present now which mentions nex's attacks three times in the mage, attacks, and battle sections. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 218.186.15.10 (talk) on 09:25, October 13, 2011 (UTC).
I've been telling people to change to article for ages because I can't do it well myself. But if nobody's doing it, I'l have to. So you guys do it the way you want to - I'll be more than happy. But if nobody's doing it, I'll have to. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 218.186.15.10 (talk) on 11:03, October 22, 2011.
Better, thanks. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 218.186.15.10 (talk) on 03:57, October 23, 2011 (UTC).
I have never even seen her ingame, but reading those sections as they are now give me a good idea of how it is, so sounds like they do their job. THARKON 04:09, October 23, 2011 (UTC)
Is Nex supposed to be more powerful that the Mahjarrat?--Saphrone08Talk 19:06, October 23, 2011 (UTC)
Based on their combat levels she is stronger than any single Mahjarrat, even Lucien. Based on lore, no idea. She must have fought at least the Zamorakian Mahjarrat, and maybe once Icthlarin's Mahjarrat, but no lore about that as far as I know. THARKON 13:01, October 24, 2011 (UTC)
I was referring to her combat levels, lorewise if Azzanadra said that each Mahjarrat is as powerful as a human army, and that each Mahjarrat in the game has a combat level of 350 after the ritual, then Nex with a Level of 1001, must be thrice as powerful than a Mahjarrat, leading to the conclusion that Nex has the strength of three human armies.--Saphrone08Talk 17:25, October 24, 2011 (UTC)
That is assuming a double of combat level equals a doubling of strength. Is someone with combat level 100 really only as strong as two creatures of level 50? It's not that easily comparable, especially not when equipment is involved, I'm combat level 120 and using the right equipment I can kill 20 steel dragons of level 246 with ease. THARKON 11:52, October 25, 2011 (UTC)
Hypothetically speaking yes, since monsters are considered having no equipment whatsoever.--Saphrone08Talk 19:13, November 1, 2011 (UTC)
According to the revamped Runescape website, Nex may be stronger than the Gods themselves. Her article states that the Gods pooled their resources together and still could'nt defeat her.Lord Drakan 17:45, November 23, 2011 (UTC)
Even though now nex cant be soloed because of the thingy jagex put into the room where there has to be 2 or more or was it 4 or more people in the room @ once to be able to right/enter the room
Before jagex did that woox16 owned nex ina solo with a few j-mods watching(first attempt) then he ditched and re-did it and succeddeded lol fail typing :D
With the new Runescape website revamp, Jagex has released some concept art of Nex under the "Personalities" section of the Game Guide.I think it would make a great addition to the page. The easiest way to extract this image (because it is not "copy-pasteable" like normal images), is to select all and then copy everything and paste it into Word or whatever. This can be done with the other artwork in the personalities section as well. Lord Drakan 17:42, November 23, 2011 (UTC)
I posted that nex was created based on the pokemon garchomp as a concept as i got that from a jmod in a chat yet u removed it reasons? i see alot remove alot of info around here
I have not seen this info yet. Please provide a picture or link to a jmod saying it. You, of course, understand we can't just take peoples word on things without proof :{
has Nex ever been soloed? 71.204.179.212 00:54, May 27, 2012 (UTC)
I guess it is possible now with the instakill dart. I'm sure people are able to solo it without that item as well. Djpailo (talk) 18:36, October 3, 2012 (UTC)
No Longer Strongest Monster in RS. The QBD has been released yet the Nex guide still states Nex is the highest level monster fought by conventional methods.
