Reqs?[]

Are there available system requirements to run NXT somewhere? That is what I always kinda enjoyed on RS, that you can play it also on generally sh...bad computer and I just hope they won't make NXT compulsory later on. 2.126.46.221 23:24, April 27, 2016 (UTC)

They have posted it somewhere, but playing on NXT low is like playing on Java High but with better performance. So your potato bad computer should be able to handle it. NXT however will eventually replace Java as was their goal all along. Salix of Prifddinas (Talk) 23:36, April 27, 2016 (UTC)
I went searching for the minimum system requirements, because like Salix I thought they were posted somewhere, but wasn't able to find them even on Jagex's own support pages [1].
I assume as long as you have a reasonable CPU (Single-core, 2.0+ GHz), a GPU that either supports DirectX 9 or OpenGL 2.0, and at least 1GB of RAM you should be able to at least launch the game.
For reasonable performance (better than what you'd obtain from the Legacy Java Client), I'd aim for OpenGL 2.0+ as DirectX support is handled solely by the ANGLE abstraction layer; sacrifing performance for cross-plateform support. If you're forced to run the game via "Compatibility mode", ANGLE will behave much like Safemode worked in the Legacy client. — Heaven Sent (talk) 02:13, April 28, 2016 (UTC)

It doesn't stand for anything ([2]) --Iiii I I I 02:39, April 28, 2016 (UTC)

Why was Prestige Level scrapped in favour of HTML5?[]

So the Prestige Leveling on 13th October 2013, was scrapped in favour of HTML5 in March 2014 and 18th April 2016, right? 124.106.135.191 20:46, September 28, 2016 (UTC)
