This talk page is for discussing the Mutated bloodveld page.

Untitled[]

I passed through the dungeon a while ago, saw them. Are there any safe spots? They are thin enough for the corridor.

Crystal Chime[]

Is crystal chime needed to kill them ? If no it should be stated in the article.

You're thinking of the warped tortoises/terrorbirds in the Poison Waste dungeon. These are different. No chiming required. S3v3rian 02:40, January 1, 2010 (UTC)

Theories on the bloodveld[]

Look, i came up with a few theories for the Mutated Bloodveld and their striking resemblance to a human. there are simply 3 possibnilities to explain this kind of appearance. 1 - The lab's work was to turn humans to bloodvelds, but failed. 2 - The lab's work was to turn Bloodvelds into humans, which failed but gives the bloodvelds human-like appearance. 3 - The lab's work is to somehow mix a human with a bloodveld, possibly to create a new, more powerful species. I wanna hear some opinions... -KingBlackChicken

Dragon Med Drop Rate[]

When I first checked this article it had DMed drop rate as (uncommon). After killing about 400 of them during 2 slayer tasks and not receiving a DMed drop, I updated the drop rate to (rare). Since then I have completed over 10 slayer tasks by killing Mutated Bloodvelds (about 1,500 kills), so I have once again changed the drop rate to (very rare). But, at this point, I am wondering if anyone can actually confirm that Mutated Bloodvelds even drop it? I'm going to go look for youtube vids/pics and see if I can find out myself. You changed the drop rate in the article based on 10 tasks? Idiot. If you don't understand what "drop rate" means, don't fuck with the part of the article that says "drop rate"!! I've had 2 dmeds from these guys, they were 6 kills apart, that does not make D med a common drop from them. 188.220.35.172 07:52, March 8, 2011 (UTC)

I have had 2 Dragon med helm drops in many many kills. I'm sorry I dont know how many, but quite a lot, I do them often for slayer task (93 slayer atm). So they do drop them but very rarely

It's a rare drop table drop and should not be there to begin with.

Yes it should be. I almost always get at least one dragon helm from a mutated bloodveld task, sometimes more. My ring doesn't jungle. They drop far more often from mutated bloodveld than from other monsters. It is a separate drop and it belongs on the table. --Andorin (Talk) (Contribs) 05:14, July 19, 2012 (UTC)

Magic?[]

Somebody posted magic (not advised) while safe spotting but was latter updated that they were weak to magic like polypore staff so which is true? could anyone find out please?  —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Masta-o-Agility (talk).

Rare drop table[]

I dont think the ring of wealth have any effect's here, since i didn't get any msg "You ring... shine more brightly"
