Move
Edit
We should move this page to Multiway Combat, as that is what it is called in-game.

- [http://www.runescape.com/kbase/viewarticle.ws?article_id=1945#combat_areas] suggests otherwise:
"Multicombat areas are ....." "Multicombat areas are especially ..."

But what about how in-game, when you hover over the crossed swords icon, it says "Multiway Combat"?

Note: for now, I will move this page to Multicombat area (without the -), because that's how is spelled on the website. I will also note that Multicombat areas are also known as Multiway Combat areas.

Map of all multicombat areas
Edit
I remember seeing a map of runescape with multicombat areas highlighted. Where did it disappear to? Can we get it back? It would be highly useful in planning pk trips for clans.
Slayer kill credit and XP in Multicombat area?
Edit
What exactly happens with the slayer kill credit and the XP when in a Multicombat area? Has anyone done specific tests?
For example, if two people attack one creature and one does more total damage than the other. Is XP split, credit to most damage or first hit or final blow?
I've always wondered about this. I think the kill goes to whoever lands the final blow, and the Slayer XP is split proportionately to total damage done.
Some clarification of that in the trivia section would be helpful. If I can test and confirm, I'll add. If someone else knows, please add it first.

- From the slayer page: "If more than one person is slaying the same monster then the experience is potentially divided with one half of the experience going to the person who does the most damage and the other half going to whoever gets the last hit, so if a player does the most damage and gets the last hit that player still gets the full experience." I believe when the xp is split, both players have a kill counted towards their task. Stewbasic 21:32, April 22, 2012 (UTC)
Drops in Multicombat Areas?
Edit
Specifically, the God Wars Dungeon. When killing General Graardor in a team (not a clan, so no LootShare or anything) does the person who did the most damage get all the drops? Are they split?
