Talk:Mithril dragon
From the RuneScape Wiki, the wiki for all things RuneScape
The Mithril Dragon may be the higher level than the KBD, but it doesn't sound like it is as dangerous as the KBD, similar to the Kalphite Queen being considered more dangerous than the higher-lvl Ket-Zek.

[edit] Chances of Drag Full
It says that the chances of the d full are 1 in 200. Is there any proof of this? It's my experience that the odds are even lower than that. —00:47, 2 January 2008 63.246.240.82 (talk • contribs) forgot to sign this comment.
- There's proof. Drop logs have been posted on the official forums. Plus, notice that you kill about 3-5 dragons per trip. 40 trips for a single helm is long enough.

Does anyone know the odds of the visage from them?
[edit] Already released!?!
Pls check the time and date of my sign before you reply...When i got into this article, it already has a detail and a picture of the mithril dragon. Yet when i got to runscape site (after i checked this article), the mith dragon was not yet released. How did this happen? did someone from the future edited this? --Fatman4ever 06:04, 8 July 2007 (UTC)
- It was released five days ago. Check the most recent update. Or go here.[1] --Mura 06:37, 8 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Firebreath
It is said that mith dragon don't use firebreath attack, are you sure of such thing ? I'am pretty sure being firebreath attacked (as show in animation...)?

- They have firebreath attacks. You just misinterpreted what the article said. (The firebreath attack is different from the other metal dragons'. It looks like it only does it in melee, but that attack is long ranged.

[edit] Dragon platelegs/plateskirt
They do not drop them, correct? An IP was adding it to this page and to the platelegs page... it wasn't mentioned in the patch notes for this update so I'm hesitant to put it in. Confirmation for/against?

[edit] Second piece of trivia
I was reading the guide and noticed that it mentioned the sharp decline in the dfh's price is causing people to not hunt mith drags anymore. However, with the removal of dfh's from pvp drops, dfh's have increased 70% in 10 days. This information is out of date now as I'm sure that people do in fact hunt mith drags since thats the only way they can be brought into the game now
[edit] Draconic Visage Drops
Do we have proof that the drop rate of the Draconic Visage is higher for the Mithril Dragon than all other dragons? If not, shouldn't this not be on the article? It sounds a lot like speculation off of someone's personal experiences. 17:12, 15 July 2009 (UTC)[edit] Max hit range, mage?
A guy in chat claims he's been hit for 20 range, 20 mage. Do we know for sure what the max hits are? He also thinks mith drags are no big deal, so I'm not leaping to change the page. Mamabear47 22:48, 17 August 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Weak to stab!
The mithril dragons are weak to stab like most of the other dragons out there.
with 85+ herblore you can kill them very easily with a zamorakian spear and super antifires. —Sparky1 2007 (talk • contribs) forgot to sign this comment on 00:43, December 26 2009 (UTC).
If I don't have 85 herblore, can i just use zammy spear and normal antifire potions?
Also, I only have 50 ranged. Should I used blue d'hide, or just stick with torag's?
