You cannot finish this quest if you don't have 20 attack. To smash the Crystal you must be wielding Excalibur. I couldn't finish quest with my def pure (1 attack)

Where is the chaos altar in Varrock? I can't seem to find it...

• • Chaos Altar is in the church of Zamorak, near the Phoenix Gang weapon warehouse and Aubery, the Master of Runecraft, who owns a Rune shop, can teleport you to Rune Essence Mountain and sells Master Runecrafters the Skill Cape. --Spectre 9 17:19, 23 August 2009 (UTC)
