[edit] Items
Say you had a full set of dragon armor, when your membership expires (or you go in F2P worlds), does having the dragon equipment equiped provide bonuses? (as in theyre still stronger than rune). What are some examples of member items that you can keep and equip with full effect? 58.161.131.50 03:23, 3 June 2009 (UTC)
- All members only item turns into a Members object on a free world - all members objects have no bonuses what-so-ever (this is fair - otherwise every member with decent armour/weapon would obliterate any free player in combat). The only dragon equipment on free worlds is corrupt. There are no members items that can be used on free worlds (though there have been glitches where things can be in the past, though they have been fixed).

- Ah, just remembered one - skill cape emotes can be performed in free worlds as long as you are wearing the cape, but they still have no bonuses at all, and can not be operated for the +1 boost to the skill.

[edit] More Info About Ending Membership Please
The section at the end "Preparing for an Ending Membership" reiterates the bank thing so many times it's painful. I was wondering about other factors such as gravestones. Do you retain members only gravestones in free to play?
I'd like to see another section just before it highlighting exactly what you loose when you go back to F2P. Something like "Effects of Ending Membership", and please, I think we get the thing about the bank. After all those points, I seen no mention about how you can clear out the excess members items once you are back to F2P. Can you sell them on the G.E. for instance? If not then surely it should be recommended to sell all your members items on the G.E. before cancellation. Someone went to great lengths to try and clarify the fact your bank will be full, but could have spent 1/10th of the effort just summarising what's the best thing to do about it. Has anyone been in this situation before and can fill in the gaps (and remove some of the pointless repetition in that section)? --124.171.73.120 14:47, 6 August 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Extra Features : "map area"
Judging by the map, it's probably at most 4x as much map area, even though runescape.com says it's only twice as much (although that's probably outdated). --X1011 21:26, 22 Nov 2005 (UTC)
not to mention places underground
[edit] Biased
You can't just say an article is biased and not tell how. So, where is there bias in this article? -- Couchpotato99 (talk) (contribs) 15:45, 11 August 2006 (UTC)
- I agree with couchpotato, and really don't think it is biased. Megalodon99 00:21, 21 August 2006 (UTC)
ugh,i like the real old odl days...no memebrs,no fighting....

[edit] recommended member quests
where is desert treasure, dream mentor, monkey madness, mournings ends part 2, darkness of hallowvalle, and recipe for disaster? I think these quests are very important and should definitely be included in the 6-8 months completion time range. I also noticed the recommended quests are also outdated for all of the time periods... Ice 01:22, 7 July 2007 (UTC)
The only thing is who's goona update it? I would if I could, I only have time to play on weekends. And I'm not even a member! I found the quest list very helpful and didn't notice much outdatedness. However, if you would edit it to make it better, as long as you verify it with a few other people first, User:Icecube022|Ice, I think you could really make a difference. --Ameobea10 14:27, 2 March 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Too many animations.
There are currently over 30 animated images in this article. They're excellent images, but this page is really hard to load and scroll down. On users with lower performance computers, this is detrimental. We definitely need to remove some of them, especially the ones that don't add much to the text. Dtm142 01:02, 21 November 2007 (UTC)
- I agree with dtm. Also It seems as if Tarikochi is showing off I hate seeing that character on half the pages I go to, [refrain myself from swearing at Tarikochi for showing off]

[edit] Uhhhh?
I was wondering if there was a cretin time you have to wait before you become a member. (IE: i got a membership and i have to wait for it to be activated) -Omega32
- No, I think it will activate immeadiatly. It did for me I think. --{{SUBST:SUBST|Signature/Spence751 14:43, 2 March 2009 (UTC)Spence751--{{SUBST:SUBST|Signature/Spence751 14:43, 2 March 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Duel Arena
The Duel Arena is available to F2P, only the tournaments are P2P. As such, would it be wiser to remove this from the members article, or to change it to just the tournament? Negaveck 18:46, 27 January 2009 (UTC)
I agree with Negaveck. Duel arena definently should be updated. Does anyone if the duel arena was originally P2P? --Ameobea10 14:28, 2 March 2009 (UTC)
- Yes, it was origionally P2P. I beleive it turned F2P when the wilderness was changed, along with the introduction of bounty hunter. Nacho Novo9 21:51, 10 March 2009 (UTC)
I have updated that part of the membership page. I would, however, still like someone, a mod, to check it to see if it meets wiki standards and that I didn't use the wrong formatting, ect. Maybe I put info that doesn't need to be mentioned in the section its in. What I mean by this is that it was in with Members Minigames, and I said that, "Members can also head underground to compete for millions of coins in tournaments." Can someone please check it? Thanks. --Ameobea10 14:35, 2 March 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Quest List
Why do we have to list all the member's quests, when we could just highlight a few 'key' quests (e.g. While Guthix Sleeps, Recipe for Disaster, Desert Treasure, etc) and point the user at Quests#Members' quests? That list takes up a heck of a lot of space for something that is likely seldom read.
Gaz Lloyd Calcs!Awesome 21:22, 9 February 2009 (UTC)
- Absolutely right. Free-players don't have to know every members' quest, and they can be checked at a more appropriate page. Maybe list a few major, and some recommended for new members.

[edit] Player-Owned Houses
I have a question. If you are a member, and you have a player owned house, what happens to items stored in the house? Do they disappear, or if you become a member again will they still be there?--Hirushi 01:39, 28 July 2008 (UTC)
- I can confirm the house remains, along with all items. When you renew membership the items can be retrieved from the storage areas eg the costume room. This comes from past experience. Nacho Novo9
I have the same question. Would a mod please look at this and update some of this missing/stale info? This article was Nominated! It would be kept up. That's a very important question, too. --Ameobea10 14:40, 2 March 2009 (UTC) P.S. I moved this question to a new section about houses. --Ameobea10 14:40, 2 March 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Just rumors i heard
I hear rumors that when you transfer back to F2P you lose all your skills << members skills. And you revert to the levels you where before you were a member Can someone confirm this??? Coaster4321 Talk • # • Sign • Games • Sig Shop
21:49, 12 April 2009 (UTC)
That is definitely not true.--Palwow2350 05:51, 22 April 2009 (UTC)
- No, you keep all levels and items when you lose membership. Also, the faster run restore from a higher agility level also stays, though I do not know if experience in member's skills contributes to the 12.5M experience needed to post on the forums as a free player.
Gaz Lloyd Calcs!Awesome 15:58, 22 April 2009 (UTC)
Just another question << i think it was asked already..
Do you lose your house.. even if you renew the members ship like a few days after losing it?? Coaster4321 Talk • # • Sign • Games • Sig Shop
15:47, 25 April 2009 (UTC)
You don't lose anything, including your house. --Dave Lopo 15:56, 25 April 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Member credits/days
When you are a member does the month count as the month (31 days that passes by) or each time you log in every day, and if not this can you explain? Ocenar 21:24, 6 June 2009 (UTC)
- When you buy a month of member credit you get a minimum of 31 days credit, depending on payment method. Every 24 hour period that passes (i.e. a day), this count reduces by one, regardless of if you log in or not. Once the number reaches zero, you can no longer log on to a member's server, and if you were in a members only area you will be teleported to Lumbridge. Hope that helps,
