Goblin NPC names Edit

Do the dead goblin names vary by player or is the article wrong? It says the goblin in the first grave is snotnose, but my first one was snothead (35), then snailfeet (45), mosschin (55), redeyes (65), strongbones (75). Pointy 18:49, 13 November 2007 (UTC)

After the quest Edit

I haven't actually tried this yet, but I have 3 4 dose goblin potions atm, can they be used anywhere after quest? If they can I was going to meet a m8 in lum and scare him then talk to a goblin to see if they know i'm not one. does it work still? if it does is it restricted to an area? It tells you in the quest that it only works in caves. If you try to drink it, it tells you that there's no need if you're nowhere near the temple. JalYt-Xil-Vimescarrot 15:54, 14 November 2007 (UTC)

Make-over Mage: You should only drink it in the area you're going to need it, so you don't waste it. It will reverse itself if you are in direct sunlight or if you perform a strenous activity like fighting. It will also reverse itself if you try to wear anything that goblins don't normally wear. Difficulty Edit

I'd think a quest with a level 75 NPC would deserve a three star difficulty... right now it's got two stars, which is the same as Demon/Vampire Slayer. Also you can't just pray through all of these fights, as they use different attack styles.

i have encountered a problem during this quest at teh part where you rescue zanik from prison.......i search teh create but nothings in there! wtf is going on?

First, the area of a circle is not its radius squared. That's...well, that's just its radius squared. Obviously, the person who wrote this section knows this, but they still wrote "if the area of the inner ring (diameter 2) is 1" instead of "if the radius squared of the inner ring (diameter 2) is 1", and so on. I guess they wrote it like this for simplicity's sake, but it still might confuse people.

Second, what does "Multiplying the diameter by x increases the area by a factor of x²" have to do with anything? Maybe I'm just terrible at maths, but I certainly don't see anything being multiplied by x. I see the diameter being divided by two and then squared, and I see the result of that being multiplied by pi (even though we don't actually have to do this), but I definitely don't see the diameter being multiplied by x at any point.

Finally, regarding the game itself, why exactly is the solution to the puzzle the radius squared? That seems incredibly arbitrary and random. Does it have any mathematical or logical significance whatsoever, beyond being the halfway point of a well-known formula? Damn you, Oldak.
