[edit] Complete
I guess this page is complete. Seems kind of small though, but I don't think it's gonna get any larger. --Richard1990 22:40, 13 May 2006 (UTC)
Never mind what I just said. It looks good now. --Richard1990 22:58, 13 May 2006 (UTC)
What is the formula?
[edit] Death
Oops. I just realized there's a death, but I put death info in this page. Should the other page be deleted or what? Or should the death info here be moved to that article? --Richard1990 18:58, 20 May 2006 (UTC)
- Probably merge Death into Hitpoints, since Hitpoints has more info. Oddlyoko 19:07, 20 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Question
Just a question, but why did they make the XP for lv 10 higher so that some people got only 9HP?
[edit] a little change i made
it had origanally read "I would not reccomend this" but i changed it to "This is not reccomended". This was only done to match the point of view as the rest of the article.

[edit] Respawn
If you are a member and have respawn set to Falador or Camelot, then die on a f2p world, do you respawn in Lumbridge?--71.136.245.7 23:17, 18 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Cape of Achievement question
So, players can recieve 1 extra hitpoint every minute, is there a maximum amount that they can gain?
TIRRIANGANT (TALK) 17:22, 25 September 2007 (UTC)
- With the cape alone? Yes. 100. JalYt-Xil-Vimescarrot 17:45, 25 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Max hitpoints
This just sounds weird to me:
- "Usually, the highest number of hitpoints that any monster has is 255. These include Kree'arra, Commander Zilyana, General Graardor, K'ril Tsutsaroth. The Kalphite Queen, however, has two forms, each of which has 255 hitpoints. Since players must defeat both forms, she effectively has 510 hitpoints in total. Steel Titans have 750 hitpoints, the most out of every monster."
Not really sure how it should be changed, though. Aquilae

Me either. --Zeeus 04:36, 29 June 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Tz-Tok-Jad
How much HP does jad have? Im going to look it up now, but when it was mentioning how most NPCs had 255hp, it didnt mention jad and I was curious. --Zeeus 04:38, 29 June 2008 (UTC)
250 hitpoints - lol sorry, never mind. --Zeeus 04:40, 29 June 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Leader
Why the heck does it say the leader for Hitpoints? No other skills say it and don't we have a policy of not mentioning players by name?
- We're arguing that here. I actually don't see a problem with it.

[edit] Max Hp/Minute?
I was wondering.... What's the max hp you can heal in a minute, no food or brews? (I mean Regen Bracelet + Dream + Rapid Heal + Normal hp?) --Vynergy 23:17, 1 October 2008 (UTC)
- Well... regen (2x) + prayer (2x) gives 4hp/min, dream (3x) + prayer (2x) gives 4hp/min (curisously, not the 6hp/min expected), and all combine with a bunyip's 6hp/min (not 8hp/min; its 2hp/15sec, so the fourth heal, at 60sec, would be the start of the next minute) and with the Hitpoints cape operate function of 1hp/min. I'm guessing, all five gives 13hp/min (2 times norm from regen, 3 times norm from dream, +1 from prayer (juding on dream+prayer combo), +6 from bunyip and +1 from cape). Need confirmation (can't cast dream, nor afford regen brace, nor use bunyip, nor own hp cape).

[edit] New Heartbeat Sound Effect
You may or may not have noticed recently that when your HP drops to 25% or less, the sound of a beating heart will start to play now (obviously another warning/reminder to players nearing death to eat some food; this accompanies the previously added pulsing animation of the heart icon that's been in the game a while now)
I'm not sure if it was updated today (Dec. 16th) along with the Christmas Update or before that, but I'm pretty sure it's a hidden update though and recent. Also, I play a lot of hours with my sound turned up fairly high and I just barely noticed it training agility today. So I'm assuming it's a very recent hidden update. Anyway, it should be added to this article/as a new change. [Update] Nvm, I've added it to the article under the fighting section. Oni ™ 21:29, 16 December 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Lowering Hitpoints
There are several ways to lower one's hitpoints:
- engage in combat with another monster/player
- eat that fish which causes you to lose hp
- drop that black potion thingy
- and more stuff
Could someone plz add that to the article? Blackhole252

[edit] Posion hitsplats
There currently are two different poison hit splat images in the hp article in two different places. Since one of them is mine I don't want to go eliminating the duplicate without a little discussion. So, which one should stay, the one with the other hit splats in the "fighting" section or the one in the "poison" section. Sylor 0 20:29, 27 May 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Disease?
Should this page contain the disease information, it has nothing to do with hitpoints at all... In fact the only skill that disease cannot reduce is hitpoints, should that not exclude it from this page? Wylsey 20:37, 27 May 2009 (UTC)
Are you sure it can't reduce hp? I happen to think that it can, but I can't quite remember. (Oh by the way don't forget to sign your username on talk pages with four tildes (~~~~). Sylor 0 20:35, 27 May 2009 (UTC)
I am 100% certain it doesn't. I was fighting Zogres with range earlier and the only one of my stats not reduced was hitpoints. Wylsey 20:37, 27 May 2009 (UTC)
[edit] New hitpoint bar
Aha! I knew that the Jad vs. Chickens image's HP bars were going to be a future update! Dave Lopo 20:48, 27 May 2009 (UTC)
- Eh?
[edit] This artcle is out of date...
How is it? Shall I remove this? --

[edit] Rocktail
I've made the Titan's Constitution linkable, and added the Rocktail to the temporary boosts section due to its ability to heal 10 over the player's maximum. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Bassjason1 02:38, September 29, 2009 (UTC)
