Starting OffEdit

I've been meaning to do something like this for a while; a page where all of RuneScape's history is condensed into what is sort of a big reference guide. What I'm planning for this page to be is kind of starting point for people to begin learning about RuneScape's history, a subject that I think people are starting to get a lot more interested in thanks to the wiki. Normally, I would handle this sort of thing myself; I know this stuff inside and out. But there's no way I alone can handle the sheer volume of information there is floating around both on and off the wiki. There's also the issue of coding, organizing the tables, and researching sources and external links. I don't know much about alot of the Wiki's internal workings, and I'm hoping that the community can really get this page pumping. If anyone is interested in working on this project, I'd appreciate it if you post here or begin helping out with the editing so we all sort of know what the situation is. Need Coding Help! Edit

Complete? Edit

I've just been adding a few events to the table, and I'm pretty sure all the events in any of the articles on the Ages of RuneScape are on the page. Should the "incomplete" or "under construction" templates be taken off?--Pig House^{Inane Ramblings} 12:46, 31 October 2008 (UTC)

Well honestly, this may never be totally complete as there may always be new information released from the source of all knowledge of things in Gielinor, a/k/a RuneScape, the source of course being Jagex. Our resident lore and historical expert Morian Smith initially constructed and placed these tags here.

Personally I feel we should construct a custom notification at the top of this page stating something akin to the current two templates and the fact that more historical information may be revealed at virtually any time. Anyone want to give this a go? ~kytti khat 17:22, 26 December 2008 (UTC)

MISTAKE!!Edit

Look, in the "Desert Pantheon" section on the second age, it said that Tumeken and Elidiness met in Gielinor and eventually became husband and wife. So Ichtlarin and Amascut should be born into Gielinor (maybe as minor Gods) instead of arriving from another plane, since it doesn't make sense.-KingBlackChicken

Barrows brothers? Edit

A mention should be made about the Barrows brothers. According to the Lores story "The Fall of Six," we know that they led a campaign into Morytania sometime during the God Wars. Having made a deal with a mysterious, long-lived, powerful stranger (unknown Mahjarrat, possibly?) for enchanted armor & weapons, the brothers and their followers fought for a full year as they moved "towards the heart of Hallowvale." The stranger returned to claim his end of the bargain before the brothers' goal was reached, however, and they fell in battle and were buried by their followers. The campaign fell apart and the surviving forces retreated. Unfortunately, exactly *when* this happened is unknown, so I wouldn't know where to insert this tale in the timeline.

The "unknown Mahjarrat" is Sliske, and the Morytania Campaign occured soon after the Fall of Hallowvale, so that is where it should be placed
