WeaknessEdit

A while ago, the weakness was slash attacks. Now it's stab. Which one is correct? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Weezerde (talk) on 20:05, 28 November 2009 (UTC).

I've compared Rune Scimitar's accuracy to Rune Sword, using accurate attack on both, and they both give comparable hit rates. ~83% hit rate with level 60 attack, no other difference in gear. If they are weak to stab attacks, then the weakness is very minimal. Kiwimango 01:25, July 23, 2011 (UTC)

Rune QuantitiesEdit

Rune quantities not shown? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 87.102.65.75 (talk) on 18:02 12 November 2007 (UTC).

Snapdragon?Edit

Can't a hill giant drop grimy snapdragon(s)? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by X69KarjalaXX (talk) on 13:48 15 April 2009 (UTC).

No they do not drop those Dimchord 15:56, February 4, 2011 (UTC)

Charm drop rate?Edit

Can we get more people to do the 100 kills to get a better % of charm drops? I personally have them as a slayer task so I should be over there soon. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 72.92.92.245 (talk) on 18:10 02 October 2009 (UTC).

-- I just got a blue charm from them. I'm not doing a charm log, so I can't give percentages, but I just wanted to report that they do drop them.

Intro paragraph and locations Edit

The introductory paragraph of this article is a muddled mess of locations where hill giants can be found. It took me three readings to understand what it was trying to say about a wilderness location (without specifying which one). I've edited it at least four times, once cutting it down to just one sentence, without being happy enough to save any of my edits. This is a significant monster for f2p - but are locations important enough about a monster to even be mentioned in an introductory paragraph? If someone with more editing sense wants to take a shot at this, please do. If not, and this hangs around this way for a while, I will be bold myself... JalYt-Mej-Wynde 15:18, December 1, 2009 (UTC)

well i need to know if they are higher lvl than just 28 in another place

Tip for low levels Edit

The hill giants in Taverly Dungeon can be killed using a hit and run tactic. Just attack the giant, and then run to the area where the hill giant cannot attack you (Example: Hind behind the Stalagmites) Then repeat. Also this works well with people trying to work on Ranged because most of the time you might have weak armor on.

Not Aggressive in resource dungeon? Edit

They seem to be pretty agressive to me! I nearly died in there :D

Can somebody verify this?

oops, sorry about extra one...80.7.106.19 09:00, November 12, 2011 (UTC)

They're only aggressive to players equal to or less than twice their combat, like most monsters are. IOW, if you're less than 57 combat they're aggressive to you.  Sal  06:37, December 21, 2011 (UTC)

Weapons

Another tip is that you cant let there weapons and there hight imtimidate you.Every weapon they have will hit the same. (Example: Hammer, Cleaver, Club are the same.)
