• Moss Mervon - Althought not shown in the game Mervon is also called The Hidden Guardian.He is the guardian of moss giants,as shown in his name.

This was listed as a guardian. It is not something I have come across, or ever seen reference too, so I wondered if someone can verify this? The fact he is not shown in game makes me suspicious to this lines credibility -Mikelid109 20:22, April 8, 2010 (UTC)

Seven Guardians?

The source given for the idea of there being seven stones for seven guardians is a question a platyer asked. Mod Osborne's answer suggests only that the player was close.

I had a quick look at Taverly and Varrock stone circles, and I see eight upright stones in each. 82.39.186.195 21:04, February 1, 2013 (UTC)

• Had another look. Mod Osborne confirms that there are as many guardians as upright stones, but there are still eight upright stones. I saw a suggestion that the dolmen would count as one not two, but wouldn't that unbalance the guardians and put one above the rest? From the new bts it looks like there are actually 9. Doesn't coincide with the upright stones thing thought. Kaqemeex appears to be one as well. If anyone wants to update that, I would but I don't know how to do the links very well. Knddnk2 (talk) 20:29, March 1, 2013 (UTC)

Never got confirmation on Kaqemeex. Would make little sense really, as he is a human. It is more likely that he just travels with us as a devout Guthixian. Only Chaeldar and Harold were pretty much confirmed. Fswe1 20:36, March 1, 2013 (UTC)

We saw Valluta, Fiara and Juna in the video, who are all known Guardians. The Grim Reaper is one that was suspected before and now confirmed. Chaeldar (and who saw that pronunciation coming?) is a new one. Could one of the humanoid figures have been Ashuelot Reis? AnselaJonla 20:43, March 1, 2013 (UTC)

Ashuelot? I wonder why Guthix would have picked her and not any of the other Saradominists Sliske deceived. Would she be the guardian of the Ancient Prison? Chaeldar doesn't really make a lot of sense though, but I suppose, as she is in Zanaris, she could be the guardian of Realms and Dimensions. Which makes it odd how she didn't really do anything when the Godfather tried to overrun Zanaris with orks, but okay... It's funny how Harold is a guardian. He is to look fearsome, but the thought of him having a bunny pet which exploded just makes that impossible. :P Fswe1 20:48, March 1, 2013 (UTC)

    Could be just the known ones and some human guthixians with them. I figured that Kaqeemax himself wasn't a guardian so much as his position as a druid was. Perhaps the guardianship passed along with the title. Could be that he just came along, makes  just as much sense for him to come guardian or not Knddnk2 (talk) 23:02, March 1, 2013 (UTC)

Where/when was confirmed that Chaeldar was nor a Guardian? Must've missed that during the quest. Or is it confirmed by it never actually have been stated explicitly during the quest? 83.101.44.209 18:18, March 6, 2013 (UTC)

Chaeldar was confirmed during the BTS vid I linked in the article. In relation to Kaqemeex, even if it's only his position, he is still a guardian in the current game. Similarly with Thaerisk, he is definitely a guardian. You can speak to the Guardians after the quest about how to progress within game as a guardian, with the exception of Kaqemeex, unless I missed a chat option Godwhacker (talk) 13:51, March 8, 2013

Thaerisk and Kaqemeex are not guardians. They were simply present to help and protect their god, much like the other druids. It is never even slightly hinted that they might be guardians (and they aren't powerful), so please refrain from stating they are without conclusive evidence where it is stated they are guardians (by a moderator, since there is no in-game evidence). Evidence they aren't guardians: Dialogue with a druid in the quest after you become a guardian states that there hasn't been a new guardian for thousands of years or something. So unless Thaerisk and Kaqemeex are thousands of years old...  Wahisietel (Talk) 18:30, March 8, 2013 (UTC)

It's an observation. He does not cooperate with the other guardians, and he did not protect Guthix for lousy reasons. It can be concluded that he has, in a way, gone rogue. Fswe1 19:23, June 4, 2013 (UTC)

Alright but it doesn't mean he's gone rouge, it could just mean he is just different, and see's his role either serious or differently it's better if we don't add rouge until we get further information. He does agree in Guthix ideal of no worship. Where I am getting at is, while Jagex stated he is a Guardian, not Rouge Guardian, it's best to leave it that he is a Guardian. And he said "Doing work. Guthix need Work, not bodyguards." He believed Guthix could defend him self. Adventurerrr ^Talk 19:29, June 4, 2013 (UTC)

He stole the Tears of Guthix from Juna after she barred him from accessing them, and he wasn't there protecting Guthix because he wasn't INFORMED about his resting place being discovered, the other guardians clearly don't want anything to do with him. Wahisietel (Talk) 19:44, June 4, 2013 (UTC)
