I've found that if you stand on the vine between two platforms, on the second floor, it will not get in melee range of you. Even though it can easily walk across the vine, this is an easy safespot.

Recommended SetupEdit

They also drop swamp tar, I didn't pick any up so I didn't add it to the chart.
