Don't believe me?Edit
Check the G.E Database. Look up granite mace on it. --King x treme 14:08, 17 March 2009 (UTC)
yes but how do we know that its a reward from the quest? it could be a drop by new monsters in the update, take the dragon claws for example they appeared on ge when wgs was released but were not a quest reward. --midimatt 14:15, 17 March 2009 (UTC)
Well, I'm assuming the item will be related to the quest because 1) The item is obtained by a NPC during/ after the quest. 2) The item is obtained by killing a NPC after the quest. 3) Jagex rarely releases items without an update. (eg. They released Godswords along with the Godwars Dungeon update.) --King x treme 14:19, 17 March 2009 (UTC)
i'm not sayings its nothing to do with the quest, but i was saying how do we know its the quest reward for chosen commander?? --midimatt 14:22, 17 March 2009 (UTC)
- Midi, the rewards section would be under the Quest topic, not the Granite Mace topic
We don't assume here....facts onlyAtlandy 14:23, 17 March 2009 (UTC)
Well, the fact is this: when you complete the quest, you aren't given a granite mace. So, therefore, it cannot be considered a quest item or reward. This is similar to how the demon statuettes and the mask of dragith nurn have been handled.12:09, March 20, 2010 (UTC)
From what i'm told, it take %50 of the spec bar, and hits twice ILUVRS 126.96.36.199 17:57, 17 March 2009 (UTC)
-I've seen a screenshot of it hitting 34 as a single hit.
High alc lie?Edit
Ok, who said u get 60k from high alcing it, because thats gotta be a lie...not item can u alc and get MORE then its worth from! ILUVRS 188.8.131.52 18:17, 17 March 2009 (UTC)
- Wrong. Yew Longbows can be alched for more than they are technically worth.
I just got one Edit
i got one from ork or ogre statue i dont remember witch one if it helps.
it doesnt seem rare drop. someone got one just before me, and another person got one too at the same time with me. XoPp 18:49, 17 March 2009 (UTC)
- I got one from an ogre statue during the quest, so you're right about it not being a rare drop. WWTDD? 18:51, 17 March 2009 (UTC)
- Guess that will make this item the fastest new item to experience a market crash... --King x treme 23:51, 17 March 2009 (UTC)
Just tested the Maces special attack and with 50% of my spec bar i was able to use the attack and it hit once, i've changed the article from saying 100% for 2 hits to 50% for one hit.

Bandos item? Edit
- Also, I changed the Bandos Godsword into Ancient Mace, as it's closer to the despriction (BGS special doesn't raise the weapon in front of enemy):
Its animation is similar to that of the Bandos Godsword, where the player swings it down then overhead onto
rarity and priceEdit
i made about 20 of these in less then 3hours, this is a very common drop and the price is high just because it's new, it'll probably be worth 50k's in a few week, don't say it's "rare" on the article, it's not true. It got a lame special, far less good then g maul. It won't raise so much guys.
I Agree, I got One of them, and I had only killed two ogres, I also get two of them in a row when killing ourgs. Runeueins 07:53, 22 March 2009 (UTC)
It's absolutely dreadful, it doesn't even show the special attack, who changed it and can we get a better one? it's all pixelated. Floppyc5 00:38, December 22, 2009 (UTC)

"If you enter "Bandos" in the search box of the Grand Exchange database, at the website of Runescape. The Granite Mace will be listed below in the results. However, the Ancient Mace is not, while this is also a weapon used by the followers of Bandos."
I don't really see how this is notable. The Granite Mace examine text contains 'Bandos', while the Ancient Mace text doesn't. Simple as that. MentalBakura 02:01, June 9, 2010 (UTC)
