This article looks awfully familiar...have I seen this on Tip.It? It looks like a cut-and-paste job on part of it.

- Nope, it isn't, though I could have SWORN it looked familiar with this part:

More than 1 copy? Edit
Does anyone know if it is possible to drop a full book before getting a replacement from Jossik? Might be nice to have a 'place-marker' copy in the bank...

- You can only have one of each. If you drop a full book, you can get a replacement from Jossik, but then you won't be able to pick up the one you dropped, getting a message like "You already have a prayer book."--99.21.170.64 22:04, October 1, 2009 (UTC)
- If you qualify to do it, the activity after One Piercing Note now allows you to make multiple illuminated copies of any completed book, after which you can discard the original (and get it back for free if you need it later). Strange (possibly improper grammer) within the rites of the god books Edit
Look at the rites of the Book of Balance, and you'll see Jagex tried to make the rites sound formal by sticking "thy" and "thee" into them. They did it incorrectly though. Look at the wedding ceremony for the Book of Balance: "Light and dark, day and night. Balance arises from contrast. I unify thee in the name of Guthix." In this case, it should be said, "I unify you," because it's applying to more than one person. The Last Rites and Blessings use "thee" and "you" inconsistently.

- whoever wrote that is an idiot. thee is correct as he is unifying them, therefore making them one thing.

Trivia? Edit
The books have similarities to the game Myst, both have colored books that require the player to search for the corresponding colored pages to complete the book. Should this be added to a trivia section?--99.21.170.64 22:07, October 1, 2009 (UTC)
- I think that this is a very interesting observation, and It may actualy have a relation the the Myst game. However I do not believe it should be added into the trivia since there is no actual evidence that this is related to the Myst game. - Goury 02:27, January 31, 2010 (UTC)
Different prayer book? Edit
Is there any way to get a different prayer book?

but you cant jossik just says he hasnt found any more books and this is ages after i did the quest and made a complete book so the bit in the article about getting another one after completeing your book is not true. Rabbit Fear 14:22, March 10, 2010 (UTC)

3 books when quest complete Edit
I just completed the quest and there was only 3 options to choose from. I think maybe you have to complete a standard god book before you have access to the newly relelased ones.

help!!!! Edit
will someone please help me, i decided to buy the zamorak book in about early 2010, when i got it, it was only about 1,5m to fill out. at that time i didnt fill it out, now it is way too much for me and i need the book filled out fast. is there any way to get a different "damaged book" even if i try to replace the zamorak one? i need help very bad..... :( if any one also has extra zammy pages or anything (if there isnt a way to switch out books) it would be greatly apreciated —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 71.233.71.60 (talk).

repeated posting of stupid Edit
"Since the god books of Book of balance (Guthix), Book of law (Armadyl) and Book of war (Bandos) are all called after the alignment of its representing god, it is more consistent to call Saradomin's book "Book of order", since he is the god of Order. This is the same for Unholy book as Zamorak is known as the god of Chaos his book should be now called: "Book of chaos". But since Zaros is not officially well known, his alignment is unknown, and all his other items are referred to as 'Ancient', it indeed makes (more) sense that his book is called: Ancient book."
This type of information should not be posted in a wiki. This is ONE individuals opinion who quiet frankly has absolutely zero say in why or how something should or should not be renamed. This is not fact, this is not even based of well known game lore. This individual needs to keep his thoughts to himself and only post factual information prevelant to the topic in which this item can be catagorized under.

Fact, the point of the wiki is to post the stats / lore / usefulness and or tips of items in game, not for YOU one INDIVIDUAL to post YOUR opinion. You want to see the opinion?
1. "since he is the god of Order", says who? in my book he's the god of righteousness / good. That seems like a holy book fits pretty well.
2. "his book should be now called: "Book of chaos" Again i disagree, he's the god of evil. So again unholy fits just fine.
If you want to repost this, move it down to TRIVIA where it belongs and keep your personal crap out of this wiki.
For your information, I believed it was in trivia. Also, I didn't write it. And again, all statements are supported with facts. You must have somehow missed that. PS. By the way, as soon as you start actually contributing to the wiki, maybe someone will listen to you.- Theend16

^ No, it was not in trivia, hence why it was removed and flagged.
I've been using this wiki for years which gives me just as much right to remove foolish statements of children screaming to get attention by posting their personal feelings on the internet.

This isn't a personal attack on you, man up and grown a pair. We're all here to improve the information posted. If we disagree, so be it, but it will not be over something posted that cannot be backed up verbatum with the runescape.com database / lore or widely accepted by the fanbase.
Exactly, I'm glad you can see now what your being like^ :). Yes, we differ in opinion. (And what do you mean it cannot be backed up? There is plenty of information! Armadyl is in fact the god of law, and Bandos the god of war, so (as it says), to "mantain consistancy" the other books would be named to fit their respective God's role. This is a perfectly acceptable, factual based statement that is appropriate for the trivia section. - Theend16
Not ALL of the information was incorrect, hence why I did not quote the statements made for armadyl / bandos / zaros. On all three counts for these gods I happen to AGREE. It's with the other three where issue can arise.
Again I AGREE it is perfectly acceptable under trivia, but this information was not posted under that section during the time of my edit, hence why I removed it in the first place.
And as I said before, I thought it was in trivia all along. Why are we still arguing? Glad everything is sorted out. -The end16

Free replacement and alching Edit
Does anyone know if a book that you've "lost" by alching it still gets replaced for free by Jossik, or does it have to be legitimately lost by other means? Ash Plissken 18:40, November 17, 2011 (UTC)
