Defence update Edit

Has the slash defence been decreased by 2 since yesterday?

Just a random discussion, but it is kinda irritating to see all new items have some sort of repair feature. It feels like the game is almost centered around the mechnic of degradable armour/weapons. I honestly thing they could release a skill based around maintaining your weapons/armour with how many new items they have released. I cannot think of many new items that have not had some sort of degradable option.

Torva/Other Next Armours

Zaryte Bow

Chaotic Weapons

Chaotic Shields

This new armour/Staff

Dominion Tower Items

New Barrows set

PvP Gear (Which I suppose makes sense)

Etc

Of course the old barrows sets too, but back then that felt like a feature specific to those armours. Now its mainstream. Its hard to find an armour that doesnt require some sort of upkeep. Although I doubt they will ever add upkeep to rune and such, it is still bothersome.

Just was browsing the new content and notice this trend and thought it was relevant to a discussion topic.

why has the defence bonuses changed from 180 to 150

Yeah now that you mention it it is annoying. This is why I don't use chaotics or any enw armor or Barrows. I'm too poor as it is, upkeep will not amuse me. Thus I ignore this armor. Thats also y Bandos and Armadyl do be loved.
