According to a recent update, it no longer takes up charges when entering the abyss. Perhaps this should be added to the page?

I think the update means that it doesnt take charges when you are skulled and you enter the abyys (it doesn't take away your skull). Tesfan 12:35, 11 May 2007 (UTC)
That's what I wasn't so sure about. Not being a member, I can't check it out, but if someone were to do so, and whichever way it turns out, correct this on the main page?

It doesn't take up a charge when you are skulled, but it doesn't make your skull go back to its original amount of time it takes to wear off. In otherwords it prevents your skull timer from reseting, but doesn't use a charge, but if you enter and have no skull it uses a charge and prevents you from being skulled.Malestro16:03, 11 May 2007 (UTC)
It's abyssal brace ingame. Should we move article? Syugecinspam 23:36, 20 May 2007 (UTC)
I'd just link to it, since I'd imagine this'll be a common typo for it. Or do it the other way around, not that it matters much. Yleron 16:00, 21 May 2007 (UTC)
HAve other players made up myths such as "If you wear an abyssal bracelet while killing abyssal demons, you have a higher chance of getting a whip!"? Just curious........... —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Pkthis (talk) on 2007-11-09T23:09:56.
Is the word 'forinthry' really a word at all? I've been asking myself this question for quite a while now and it bugs me, so, if anybody knows, can you please reply? Thanks. User:Mythiko97
Based on manually going through a large number of pages of search engine results, it seems to have been a manufactured word as there is no definition for it anywhere and literally all results I came across were related to RuneScape. I was actually disappointed that I couldn't learn the meaning of a new archaic word to try and confuse my friends with in a normal, every-day conversation. --
I suppose it's a mistake and the one who add it meant safer ? Anyway, I changed it back since not being skulled doesn't make the trips faster... in fact it makes them slower, since you need to put a new bracelet every 5 trips. Patheticcockroach(Talk) 06:46, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
== Getting teleblocked doesn't use charges ==
I've been teleblocked several times while wearing the bracelet and haven't used a charge yet. It still says '(5)' next to the item name. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 209.60.99.201 (talk) on 2008-04-20T10:27:35.
I think if you are teleblocked the item doesn't use a charge, however if it cancels out the effect of the teleblock then it would use a charge. (That, or it just can't cancel out the teleblock. QA department fails again...) 24.149.187.60 13:32, 20 April 2008 (UTC)
It doesn't use a charge when you get teleblocked, but it uses a charge when you teleport whilst under the block. --Drummer (speak) 21:16, 20 April 2008 (UTC)
My experiences suggest otherwise. I've teleported many times while under teleblock with the brace, yet it's still at 5 charges. Weird. Tien 00:48, March 8, 2010 (UTC)
Same here, it doesn't remove charges when I teleport with a teleblock, but I only use it for the mage arena bank lever so I don't know if its different with spellbook teleports, mine has 4 charges by the way so it did use a charge some time tho Magicaragorn 17:00, April 11, 2010 (UTC)
Are you sure it didn't happen when entering the abyss or anything like that? My brace has been with 5 charges for months now, and I teleport when teleblocked a lot, as I do a lot of level 3 clue scrolls. Bruxacosmica Talk-Highs 16:20, May 8, 2010 (UTC)
What's the high alch value when there's one charge left? Alching it instead of using the last charge may save money.
Hard to come by on the Grand Exchange? I don't think so - I just bought 10 immediately at market price, and it's pretty close to the price of diamond for mid-high level trainers. I see no reason for a 'shortage'.
