- Yes, and surprisingly, they fit with many outfits. <- Velireon ->
Are they good for swimming (areas where you need diving apparatus)? Or are they plainly decorative? Golduin 19:03, 22 June 2008 (UTC)
I never heard of anyone testing it out, but I'm fairly sure it doesn't matter whether you have them on or not.Hippodo 19:05, 22 June 2008 (UTC)
- I've been wondering that for a while. I'd like to know, but personally I think it'd be just for show. 00:56, October 12, 2009 (UTC)
whats up with this ive been at mogres for 2 hours already and no flippers drop yet, and last time i check they were a common drop...
- Have another read of the article; it's not a common drop, it's an occasional one. :) Keep at it and you'll get a pair.--220.127.116.11 02:24, January 9, 2010 (UTC)
I have killed at least of 200 mogres. Have got 5 tokens, 6 hats and no flippers : (
I am a level 3 Skiller with 33 slayer. I've killed 107 Mogres and haven't seen my flippers yet. I haven't even gotten a Mudskipper hat. I have however gotten 7 Crunchy Claw Tokens and alot of seeds/raw fish. My friends have lead me to beleive that you can no longer get flippers as of the Mogres update back in April I think it was. Which has changed they way they look, if you look closely, they aren't even wearing flippers.
Can anyone please confirm if they have recently gotten flippers (within the past month).
I got flippers!! 2 sets.
Flippers on level 3 skiller. Edit
August 30 2012:
I just got the flippers on my level-3 skiller after killing only 5 Mogres. I used the Ancestors Spirits Aura, recoils, and a combination of Chocolate Cake and Rocktail.
So this confirms that you can get the flippers still, I think there was some confusion. And that it's possible to obtain them on a skill pure without gaining combat xp.
Good luck to everyone else trying to get them.
