## Fist of GuthixEdit

Is this members only? --124.180.15.93 06:26, 4 August 2008 (UTC)

no um but some rewards are —Manyman (talk)

This concerns the Degrading Equipment. Once it is fully degraded it can be traded. What is the current way to "repair/recharge" it or is it not possible at this point (like the Black Mask)?

~Ixindor~

Use whatever item (only when it's completely depleted) with the guy that you buy the items from in the first place, he'll recharge the items for a "small fee". Regabuh 18:48, 9 April 2008 (UTC)

Is the "small fee" actual cash or more points earned from the Minigame? ~Ixindor~

Points from the minigame. So even if you just buy the items from the Grand Exchange, you still have to play the game to use the items to their full extent. Regabuh 18:52, 9 April 2008 (UTC)

Crap, it looks like I won't be using any of the new items anytime soon. DANGIT! Oh well, might want to put that in the article somewhere. I'm sure others are wanting to know how to recharge the items.

~Ixindor~

Done, added general information to the shop and the tokens which were not mentioned before. Regabuh 19:12, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
You know, the article doesn't list the repair costs (last I looked)... could anyone who knows put those up? I would, but I haven't been there yet... --Pikaandpi 17:28, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
Oh, hello... the token article has a nice list of costs, with repair costs, too. Could we copy it over here? --Pikaandpi 19:14, 10 April 2008 (UTC)

Jesus,fricking dragon gaults areworth 600k in g/e!

If they are degraded can you still wear them?--66.99.53.29 19:14, 10 April 2008 (UTC)

Yes, and they don't have to be fully degraded to recharage them, it's just smarter to do it that way. -- 17:40, March 6, 2010 (UTC)

## new main pic Edit

It would be nice to have a fresh pic to replace the one swiped from runescape.com ... anyone have any action pics to upload? ~kytti khat 23:24, 9 April 2008 (UTC) ill make some screenshots, and put the best here--RFZ 00:30, 10 April 2008 (UTC)

## Huge glitch Edit

I want to confirm this from others before I put it in but twice while I was the hunter, when the player was D-doting and I right-clicked on them, the options Walk here X, Follow X and Trade with X appeared but not the all important Attack X though it was present for the others.

It does that sometimes... it bumps the Attack option much lower than the Walk here, Follow, and Trade options. You have to search for it. Rowanq25 [ U | T | C ] 13:27, 20 August 2008 (UTC)
This only happens when the hunted player is wearing the same Wilderness team cape as you. (Doh! Remember? :P) For that reason, if this is really annoying, you might wish to take your cape off when you are hunting. 00:38, 15 October 2008 (UTC)

## Some questionEdit

Can high/low alchem usable in the fighting area? Template:Signatures/xdragonaite 13:48, 10 April 2008 (UTC)

no

Would the hitpoints dealt by magic or melee count as experience? -| § Ξδραγωναιτε §|- 07:52, 11 April 2008 (UTC)

Apparently yes. I got a level of magic in there. 216.165.20.40 23:59, 11 April 2008 (UTC)

When you want to alch anything the message says "youre not here to do it" (when youre hunter). When youre hunted you cant use any spells..I also added some glitches screens, that Jagex should see;)--RFZ 16:18, 10 April 2008 (UTC)

The lv 260 wilderness glotch can be explained. The game is in only ONE big grid. First floors, dungeons and so on have thier own seperate areas on this grid as to prevent things like seeing the wizard tower from the steel dragons etc. The fists of guthix part of the grid is very far north, and for a short time (Until java rejisters the end of wildy command) you see what wilderness level that place would have if it were in the wild. Artwich 14:54, 11 April 2008 (UTC)

Does anyone know what all changed with today's game update? ~kytti khat 16:24, 10 April 2008 (UTC)

They even not informed us, so i think, that theyre just fixing glitches, adding lots of patches (for all i have shown, ane 3-5x "fights with same Player", wchich makes me laught, and opposite Player cry) ---RFZ 16:29, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
They changed the teleport houses so that when you exit one, you will not be able to immediately go back in one. Useful I guess, just wish they'd hurry up and get to the main problems... Regabuh 19:12, 10 April 2008 (UTC)

## Broken weapons Edit

Anyone here know exactly what happens when weapons are completely degraded? From some people, I've heard you can't wield the item at all, other people said that some of the bonuses are reduced (but to what extent I don't know). I tried to buy a broken Rune Berserker from the G.E. to check myself, but even at the max price nobody was selling. Anybody know? Regabuh 21:03, 10 April 2008 (UTC)

"Uncharged items have significantly reduced stats." Quote from KB Artwich 14:42, 11 April 2008 (UTC)

You can still wield them

indeed, theylle have reduced stats, and as for items such as the magic robes, their set effect will stop working, the skill gloves of course, crumble to dust

Ok, thanks for clearing that up. Regabuh 19:21, 12 April 2008 (UTC)

## Number of tokens you get when you win??? Edit

Is their a formula to determin the number of tokens you get when you actualy win (neather person resigns)? Based on what i've seen it is ((total lvl + difference of charges) /100) = total number of tokens. Does anyone find it to be any different? mathwiz908 17:13, 14 April 2008 (UTC)

I got different results - I won, 2407 to 712, so a 1695 score difference, with a total level of 744. I got 13 tokens for the match, though by the formula if would've gotten 24. Neither of us resigned. - Regabuh 19:40, 14 April 2008 (UTC)
In that case, it might be closer to ((total lvl + difference of charges) /200). The fact that is is 13 and not 12 could be due to a decimal. Mathwiz908 21:39, 14 April 2008 (UTC)
Definitely closer, I did some more matches and here are the results (keep in mind, total lvl still 744): Won 734 to 0, got 6 tokens. Your formula gives a 7 token output, so the divisor might be slightly higher than 200, but it's very close. A second match, won 1192 to 227 (965 difference), and got 8 tokens - Matches perfectly. You probably want to get a second opinion from someone else (preferably with a considerably different total lvl), but I'd say the formula you came up with is very close. - Regabuh 02:48, 15 April 2008 (UTC)
Remember that RuneScape always uses integer arithmetic for its formulas, i.e. every step of its calculations will be truncated. That being said, I feel that if those were the only two factors relating to the amount of tokens a player gets, then the formula would be something like $\left\lfloor \frac {\text{Total level}}a \right\rfloor + \left\lfloor \frac {\Delta \text{Charges}}b \right\rfloor$ where $a$ and $b$ are some constants, and we have to find those constants.
However, it might be possible that there is another factor in play here, such as difference of combat level. 00:32, 15 October 2008 (UTC)
The combat level is definitely a factor in the rating received. It may also be a factor in the number of tokens.Cry 4 Merci 19:03, 25 June 2009 (UTC)
I aggree, combat level is a factor and I can prove it. I'm level 74 combat and I fought a level 100 combat, won 976 to 955 and got 12 rating and 8 tokens[[File:FOG_win.png|thumb|200px]] Frt975 23:41, September 17, 2010 (UTC)
I just had a idea. Lets make a table thingy for us to log kills and tokens and rating and combat levels and total levels and all that. Frt975 00:08, September 18, 2010 (UTC)

My total level is 592, and when i get 5000 charges i get 17 tokens. (wich according to your forumla should be 28.)

## Wearing offEdit

Are those new stuff - spikeshields, gloves are decrasing during safe minigames like CW or FoG?--RFZ 03:00, 13 April 2008 (UTC)

I'm not 100% sure, but I'm pretty confident that yes, they decrease with any use, including safe minigames. - Regabuh 04:40, 13 April 2008 (UTC)
Yes, I've played FoG with my combat robes and they have degraded. Excalo 20:18, 8 June 2008 (UTC)

ok, according to the kb, the gauntlets degrade upon death, does this include death in safe games? FireyfoxImage:Armadyl symbol.PNG|34px 07:07, 13 April 2008 (UTC)

no, i have died several times in safe minigames and my rune gauntlets have not degraded. JU®n¥mAñ01 16:18, 20 April 2008 (UTC)

They should degrade on death. Excalo 20:18, 8 June 2008 (UTC)

Clarification: They only degrade when you die "unsafely" i.e. you would normally lose all but 3 of your items (4 with protect item, 0 with skull). If you would normally keep your items in a certain scenario, then they will not degrade. 00:25, 15 October 2008 (UTC)

## Queen Camel Edit

I want confirmation on that queen camel thing.Jmo, 07:47, 13 April 2008 (UTC)

There is no queen camel. If you think the earwig Fiara looks like a camel, you are very odd indeed

He means the Player's clan chat which is also called Fist of Guthix (likely without spaces) and is mentioned in the clan chat. Come to think of it, though, do we really need that in the article? --Pikaandpi 12:39, 15 April 2008 (UTC)
Personally, I think the references to Queen Camel and the Fists of Guthix (plural) chat should be removed. It just seems like free advertising to me, and the clan nor owner are particularly notable for an encyclopedia. Not to mention the rule regarding pages about players or clans - While this whole page isn't about Queen Camel or the clan alone, it mentions them more than once. I say remove all references. - Regabuh 16:16, 18 April 2008 (UTC)

## large glitch Edit

This has happened to me twice now in 20 games, The arrow stays put even when the person has teleported or gone, and i ran out of screen to the other side, ran back and it was still there, i noticed the arrow stuck behind a wall, so i went round the wall and ran in the ooposite direction off screen, it was still stuck, in the end i had to find the person by what they wore and killed them then, of course I lost because I had no idea where they were. Bob2006ty(RUNESTORM333)  talk 12:36, 14 April 2008 (UTC)

## Glich on the article Edit

For the top where it says "Did you mean the minigame Tears of guthix?" the link brings you to the quest page, not the minigame page. Was that what you wanted the link to go to or was that a mistake?Mathwiz908 09:53, 15 April 2008 (UTC)

Fixed. Bob2006ty(RUNESTORM333)  talk 10:05, 15 April 2008 (UTC)

members or f2p?

like it says it's both. Bob2006ty(RUNESTORM333)  talk 09:34, 18 April 2008 (UTC)

## Magic ExpEdit

Do you only get half?

no you get full exp, thats why its a good place to train magic because you get free runes.

PS: please sign all your posts with 4 tildes JU®n¥mAñ01 23:00, 14 May 2008 (UTC)

it's not really that good a place to train your magic, you only get the cast exp + their hp which is limited to 99 or below and their bandage supply, 1.5k exp in 3 mins is bad exp in my book. Bob2006ty(RUNESTORM333)  talk 11:41, 16 May 2008 (UTC)

Just lower your attack bonus to do 0 damage and you'll maximize casts. the best for members is to use claws of guthix with a void knight mace. Axearmour1 04:33, 22 January 2009 (UTC)

When I used a bind in fog, I only got 15 exp compared to the usual 30 exp which is weird and the other spells also only give half exp 99.238.23.134 00:18, 23 May 2008 (UTC)

It has been confirmed that the experience earned while fighting another player in Fist of Guthix will be halved, regardless of whether the player is fighting with melee, ranged, or magic. This is apparently an attempt to prevent overload of servers otherwise. 00:23, 15 October 2008 (UTC)

Previously, you used to get full experience (I used to splash train stun in there) but they changed it (I don't know the exact date) so that currently you only recieve half experience.

## A really bad glitch Edit

Well, I was FoG-ing today and I couldn't find my hunted. As if he was invisible! He probably was house hugging, but for four fifths of the time??? Come on, how is that possible! At first I saw him, he was a lvl 14 warrior. I 11--dmged him and then he disappeared!!! That's impossible, isn't it?

It is impossible. My guess was that you were running around the arena searching for him, right? He was probably running in the same way as you to avoid you. When he disappeared, he must have used the tele-orb, which sometimes skips the animation if it's laggy. Rowanq25 [ U | T | C ] 13:34, 20 August 2008 (UTC)
A lv 14 warrior would have died in the houses (thats if u can die in the house). And the yellow arrow tends to miss up a little bit too. But people in Fog once in a while do turn "invisible" as you said. It has happened to me every time. And i was sure it it when i tryed it with 2 computers. Both charaters in the middle (off to the side, so ur out of the crowed), but still the hunter chouldnt see the hunted. Its most likely becasue of the number of people in the Fog at once. It wont happend in a non-Fog world, unless its packed too(unlikely).

## Some questions (degradation, etc) Edit

1. Does the armor degrade by being hit or by taking damage?
2. I saw the most unfair thing today! A little lvl 13 was up against a lvl 124 (had a defense skill cape). Not only could he not damage him with prayer on, but he couldn't damage him with just his rune armor on.. I think Jagex needs to close the range a "little" bit. I understand the need to make it fair for non-pkpures, but the gap doesn't neep to be THAT big.

I may think of more..    Jathsen   (talk ° Contribs #)  22:50, 15 June 2008 (UTC)

That was probably just luck of the draw. I think FOG decides the gap sort of like a bell curve, where its mroe likely to get a person closer to your level, but you can get huge gaps if you are extremely lucky/unlucky. For example, when I was level 71, I got a 93, then a 37, then someone in the 60s.

--Crusader8389 01:00, December 11, 2009 (UTC)

## Possible explaination for 260 glich Edit

I think that it is possible that the fist of guthix is in the Unknown at a disance where it can't be seen and that the wilderness factor was taken out exept for that small area. Mathwiz908 11:24, 19 June 2008 (UTC)

## World 179 Edit

It says on the article that world 179 is a Fist of Guthix themed world. World 179 does not exist. I think that a user should fix this. 76.127.209.51

You could have fixed it yourself very easily, but okay... fixed. Rowanq25 [ U | T | C ] 13:32, 20 August 2008 (UTC)

## I wike chakwit melk Edit

Do I lose arrows that I use in Fist of Guthix??????

Yes, you do lose arrows, but only those that would normally be lost due to them "breaking", etc. 00:20, 15 October 2008 (UTC)

## Summoning?Edit

Do i lose pouches or time doing fog? or does it get all the time back at the end? Hankmeister 23:05, 19 September 2008 (UTC)

I dont think you can summon a familiar in this mini-game anyway.mr_o_crocodile@yahoo.com 19:00, 21 December 2008 (UTC)

You can absolutely use familiars, including combat familiars... I don't believe you get the time back, but I have always dismissed mine during the hunted phase, because they just lead people to you and prevent you from entering the safe houses. 198.175.199.194 11:27, 21 March 2009 (UTC)

## Stat Effectiveness Edit

Hi, I was wondering if anyone else had noticed that when you are playing against a higher leveled player in FoG, the lower player seems to have their stat effectiveness reduced when they are being hunted. Is this a bug? or is it meant to happen? I find it worrying that higher level players have more advantages than just level, I thought part of the reason for reducing stat effectiveness was to give lower levels a chance of actually winning it.

Lpeters 21:15, 23 September 2008 (UTC)

It works in reverse, too, though. Higher-leveled players will be easier to kill when they are hunted than otherwise. If stats were not reduced, higher-leveled players would easily be able to kill their target, and, more importantly, not get damaged by them when they are hunted. They could easily just hug the wall and gather enough charges. inclusivedisjunction 03:00, 26 September 2008 (UTC)
Yes but it's lower-leveled players that are getting their stats reduced not the higher-leveled players. Lpeters 19:23, 13 October 2008 (UTC)

## Disambiguation Edit

Shouldn't there be two pages related to Fist of Guthix, with a disambiguation page to separate the two? I am of course talking about a) the mini-game (this page) and b) the item 'Fist of Guthix' which we now know is the same item as the Stone of Jas and the Eye of Saradomin. Also read Movarios' notes volume 1 and Movarios' notes volume 2
Xena Dragon 21:45, 27 November 2008 (UTC)

## What does this mean? Edit

What does "There were not enough people in the waiting room to set you up with an opponent" mean? I sometimes get this message when I play Fist of Guthix. 69.181.224.126 06:09, 13 December 2008 (UTC)

To play the game, there must be an even number of players in the game, at least 18, and, unfortunately, you are the 19th player. mr_o_crocodile@yahoo.com 18:59, 21 December 2008 (UTC)

## One thing I noticed Edit

Has anyone noticed that your hunter finds you more easily in less crowded worlds? Why is it that way while your hunter seems to have trouble finding you when it's more crowded?

I'd say there are more names to sort through on the list if you stand in the center and a more crowded playing field Battlecity0 04:23, 27 March 2009 (UTC)
I think it might be due to lag, because when you lag it is harder to see the arrow indicating the position of the hunted. In less laggy worlds, you may see the arrow when the hunted is farther away from you.
I think its the mix of these 2 reasons and that once in a while the hunted will turn "invisable" so the hunter will have a harder time killing the hunted, but this is due to the lag.
It's mostly because its hard to find your opponent. One of the best ways to prevent your opponent from attacking you is to run around the crowded area in random directions. Then it's hard for your opponent to find you and attack you, because he has to keep right clicking and searching large lists of people.

--Crusader8389 01:08, December 11, 2009 (UTC)

## Question Edit

Why the heck do I always start as the hunted? I know its random but I get started as the hunted like 5 or 6 games in a row. Isnt that a bit much?69.181.247.231 03:42, 27 March 2009 (UTC)

It's probably just bad luck. Every time I go to play FOG, I almost always start as the same thing during that playing session, but may almost always be the other during the next session. Chiafriend12Loon is best buttlord 04:19, 27 March 2009 (UTC)

In worlds with more people, you can see less on your minimap. Also, another useful thing to know is that the hunted always starts directly opposite the arena from the hunter. (Shadoweprinz@gmail.com)

## Clans? Edit

Are there any FOG Clans that are on random worlds for less populated games? My computer lags me out of the game, and I'm tired of it. Please list some F2P ones. rock dan (RS username -- PM me please)

I have noticed that almost all worlds in U.S. servers have a decent amount of people playing fog without lagging you.

## Factual correction Edit

I play Fist of Guthix very often, (almost 80K rating now, ranked top 40 yaaay) so I've noticed tons of miscellaneous errors in this article, which I'm going to correct. Its a Pwner 07:17, 10 July 2009 (UTC)

Alright, I've changed most of them now. I think I'll screenshot/upload my rating when I hit 80,000. :P Its a Pwner 07:18, 10 July 2009 (UTC)

## Forfeiting Edit

I've seen players threatening to forfeit so that their opponents will receive less tokens, is this true? Or will only the forfeiter receive less tokens?

Only the forfeiter receives less tokens, so its not true. That makes it only bad for the forfeiter, unless they are training mage.

## Fact or fiction? Edit

First: Hunter defense appears to increase when at the center,
Conversely, decreases at the edge. (Opposite of hunted)
Noticed after I whacked a noob for fun, while as hunted.

Can this be confirmed? Thanks!

Edit: Also, dancing (2 people following each other)
helps to stall hunters for me. Should add to tips?

• It's not actually the hunter's defence increasing in the middle, it's the hunted's attack decreasing :P. You could add dancing to tips if you want, but I personally don't think it's very effective. --Its a Pwner 03:28, 5 August 2009 (UTC)

## Update on FOG last month games start slower? Edit

I used to play fog 6 weeks ago a lot so I know how it was like then. I went to a quiet FOG world so I wouldn't lag a lot. Now my membership is over, I tried to do some more fog and I noticed the game never starts? Not even when there are 6 people in the waiting room? What happened? I can't find anything on RS forums, nor in other discussions, nor in the FOG article, nor did I ever read something about this in the 'bug fixes' in Recent updates forum.- Fbi_Agen22

I do believe the minimum number of players needed to start a games is 18--HeadManiac 15:27, November 10, 2009 (UTC)

## Respawn if killing the hunter and both dies in the exat same time Edit

Hi last week i was hunted by a mage lvl 14, i killed the mage multile times as the hunted, and in the exat second the mage killed me with a spell i killed the mage with an arrow, both of us respawned and i was still the hunted, and i got full prayer, so It was 3 rounds in stead of two, has this happend to annyone other?

(my runescape name is abcx34 send me a message there if you have had the same glitch)

Yes it has happened to others ,and a few of my friends as well. It is also noted on the Fist of Guthuix trivia. My Runescape name is Xerxies.

## Death in FOG? Edit

Death appears when you die. I don't know when this started but today when I played FOG, Death, i.e. Grim Reaper will appear everytime someone dies. Sometimes they even say "Let me escort you to Lumbridge/Falador, (player name)" when you still respawn in the FOG lobby. It's getting really annoying when multiple Deaths pop up and spam the game. When did this happen? Since Hallowe'en? --Scykei 13:36, November 1, 2009 (UTC)

Yes, it happened last year too. It's supposed to happen during Hallowe'en. C.ChiamTalk 13:39, November 1, 2009 (UTC)
Should there be some sort of trivia for this? --Scykei 13:50, November 1, 2009 (UTC)
a trivia would be sustainable, as this happens every halloween.--Stormsaw1 22:15, December 23, 2009 (UTC)

## Fist of Guthix trick/glitch? Edit

Sometimes when I play Fist of Guthix, I use a house and after I pass the barrier, the hunter seems to circle the house in a funny way and then run backwards to the center. When I step out of the house, he almost instantly finds me. Is this supposed to be legal or it it a glitch. And if it is legal how do I do it? --10.8.2.215 01:01, November 14, 2009 (UTC)

I think you might be talking about a different trick. The minimap has been updated so that players have a greater range even in crowded worlds. Because of this, there is a trick where you can see all the exits of the houses when you stand in a certain spot in the center. This makes house hugging close to impossible since the hunter can anticipate better where you come out.69.181.226.238 00:38, December 11, 2009 (UTC)

## Spiting up into sections Edit

I think we should put some things in sub pages ie. glitches Manyman (talk) 20:48, November 27, 2009 (UTC)

## split into 2 pagesEdit

The rules section should be a seperate page. What do you think? 14:35, December 19, 2009 (UTC)

## Too Long Edit

The Fist of Guthix article is too long. I suggest to make a separate article for the "Hunter" and "Hunted" tactics.

~Nazgulabc123

someone shou,ld split it.

whoever does gets brownie points from me. :)

--Stormsaw1 21:30, December 23, 2009 (UTC)

## Hunter-Hunted Edit

Your right Nazgulabc123, there should be two articles.

## editing FOG page Edit

well, i guess i'll give it a try. splitting the page into sections.

wish me luck!

## revamping FOG Edit

Who wrote this thing?

it's 20 paragraphs of training and glitches!

who has enough time to do that?

This could be a LONG day

--Stormsaw1 22:31, December 23, 2009 (UTC)

## Use the construction template please. Edit

Excuse me, as you are revamping the page, please use the construction template to let other editors know to leave it alone. Personally I don't actually know how you could split it up, unless you add a disambiguation page and link all the tactics, glitches and roles in it. Hope this gave some ideas :P 19:51, December 24, 2009 (UTC)

## Can someone write a part of this article what the best or a good mixed P2p hunted armour combo is? Edit

Can someone write a good best hunter/hunted armour p2p section? That would be appreciated.

## How do you make a disambiuation page? Edit

I made a new page, Fist of Guthix, Tactics And tips, But someone needs to make a disambiguation page, to link different pages together.

19:40, January 3, 2010 (UTC)

Oh, I just moved it to a subpage of fog, as that was where it belonged. LEGYArwojy 19:50, January 3, 2010 (UTC)

## Fist of Guthix/Tactics And Tips Edit

Well, the FOG Tactics And Tips page is up. I created the actual page, but other editors(don't remember who)helped with the links and templates. Thanks if you helped out.

## Game ending in with a draw Edit

I once finished a game of FoG with exactly the same number of charges, and we both apparantly lost. Does anyone think this is a glitch or intentional, and has it happened to anyone else? Prawny 23:26, January 28, 2010 (UTC)

## I think I know how people are paired up against each other in Fist of Guthix Edit

The pairing system is actually not completely randon, and it's not based on combat level obviously. I think it's because the pairing system is based on Fist of Guthix rating.

For example say you are level 80 with 5000 FOG rating. There is a level 120 with 4800 rating and a level 79 with 0 rating in the waiting room with you. The system will more likely pair you up with the level 120 than the level 79.

Hopefully this explains why people are getting opponents way above their combat level. 69.181.226.238 00:03, April 7, 2010 (UTC)

That sounds reasonablly accurate, because I barely play FoG (I'm level 138) and I always get paired with some really low level when I do. HaloTalk 00:05, April 7, 2010 (UTC)
This is not true. I, myself, have over 100k rating, and while in the same waiting room with friends with over 50k, I just get randomly picked opponents. ~St

## Lag / Disconnect/Recconnect Edit

When I was talking to Fiara as she was giving me the video-like tour of the Arena, I disconnect for a split seccond, after reconnecting, I ended up seeing my charactor standing in a void

of white and seeing a view of the Arena from the outside. [[File:7-16-2010_12-56-42_PM.png|thumb|left|Where I ended up. ]]

## Would this be a good strategy to add to the tips and tactics section? Edit

Sometimes, I see people standing in front of the forfeit tunnels. The idea is that if their hunter is a higher level, then the hunter will accidentally click on the forfeit tunnel and accidentally forfeit the game if they try to left click to attack the hunted standing in front of them.

It's empty... It's so freaking empty... I need the tokens.

## Why is Fist of Guthix so crowded? Edit

Recently, the arena always reaches full capacity in some worlds. It hasn't been this crowded since the minigame was first released. 69.181.226.238 04:54, March 7, 2011 (UTC)

Maximum rating

While looking up the hiscores, I have noticed that the rank 1 in FoG is at about 543k ratings. Does anyone know what is the maximum rating for FoG? Is it 200m or the same as max cash?

Good question, I would think it's 200m, but who knows Sal 17:05, November 26, 2011 (UTC)

## FoG rating formula Edit

As you all know, at the end of a game, you get several rewards, like an amount of rating. I worked on the formula that could give this amount of rating, and I found it. Well... Almost... You'll see.

Well, let's define some things for later. low people = any people with a combat level between level 3 and 'your combat - 20' (not included) average people = any people with a combat leven between 'your combat - 20" and 'your combat + 20' high people = anypeople with a combat level between 'your combat + 20' (not included) and 138. Dcbt = your opponent's combat level - yours. Dcha = your charges - your opponent's charges. sqrt = square root. </span>

In fact, there are 3 different formulas to calculate the rating gained. There is one formula when you are vsing a low guy, a different one if you are vsing an average guy, and against a different one if you are vsing a high guy.

For the low people (Dcbt < -20): rating = sqrt(Dcha / 10 + 4 * Dcbt + 80) + 10

For the average people (-20 <= Dcbt <= +20): rating = sqrt(Dcba / 10 - 4) + 10

For the high people (Dcbt > +20): rating = sqrt(Dcbt * Dcha / 10 - 2 * Dcha - Dcbt + 20) + 10

Quick FAQ: Q: Are these formulas 100% trustable? R: The formula for low people is 100% accurate on 101 different scores, plus some tests in-game that I didn't write down. The formula for average people is 100% accurate on 218 different scores, plus some tests in-game that I didn't write down. The formula for high people is only 90% ~ accurate on 335 different scores. Though, the formula is still trustable, scores not corrects are like only ±1 rating, never more than a 2 rating difference. If your opponent quits the game, the rating calculated by the formula might be false. Not confirmed yet.

Q: What is the max rating gained in a match you can calculate? R: Level 3 against 126 - 5k charges to 0 = sqrt( 123 * 5000 / 10 - 2 * 5000 - 123 + 20) + 10 = 236.7, so 236 rating. I confirmed these 236 rating in-game.

Don't really know how to edit the page or so, so I let you do so. :)

## Tokens rewarded formulaEdit

Don't know if anyone care, but I was bored and I was searching the tokens rewarded formula. (Already me who found the rating one)

It's quite simple, easier than for rating at least.

tokens = sqrt(total * charges * 0.6) / 100 + 1

I guess there's a floor somewhere since there's an error of approximatly 0.05 token.

## No Players anywhereEdit

OH no, nobody is playing the Fist of Guthix anymore!!,  not in any of the worlds, this is a disaster, its my favourite part of Runescape, and I just returned to playing after 5 years.  —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 124.185.81.43 (talk) on 06:15, December 6, 2013.

RuneScape has changed a lot in 5 years, I am sure there are other things you'll enjoy. Or try searching the forums for likeminded players. 01:45, December 7, 2013 (UTC)
