Castle Wars" was the first person to obtain the cape.

Is it confirmed that summoning is allowed?

Yes, Summoning is allowed however it is not confirmed by Jagex just yet

I have also noticed that every 10 waves the attack themes change.

Waves 1-10 range based, Waves 11 - 20 mage based, Waves 21-30 melee based

ammo: 'cannonball' ??? you can use cannon?

you can only use hand cannon but you can NOT use Dwarf multicannon inside The fight kiln

isn't elder kiln required for doing the fight kiln? shouldn't somebody put that in and where it's located? Extrafruit (talk) 04:33, September 16, 2012 (UTC)

Forgotten something? Edit

No-one mention anything about the 'crystals' mentioned in the rs kiln update post? they're probably the only way to survive the two Jads...

no you can survive the tow jads by luring them to the pilliar like big stone found in the middile of the room, and then you can kill each one Seperately after.

Important QuestionsEdit

Is it possiable to do the fight kiln with sharks and not saradomin brew flasks? Yes it is possible to do the fight kiln even without food in the evolution of combat NomNom Shado (talk) 23:43, November 27, 2012 (UTC)NomNom ShadoNomNom Shado (talk) 23:43, November 27, 2012 (UTC)

Would the full slayer helmet be the best helm for all three combat styles because of its offensive range and magic bonus?

Answers to some questionsEdit

It cannot be confirmed castle wars was the first person to complete the caves, he however was the first person who got it on film (livestream on youtube) that can be confirmed.

You can kill the 2 jads without using the invulnerability crystals because you can lure them and thus trap 1 and just kill them 1 by 1, surprisingly easy btw.

You do not get tokkul if you die before you killed the 'endboss', but if you get past wave 30 before the first 2 weeks of release you will get a 70k exp lamp to use on any skill. Shinigamidaio 10:38, February 16, 2012 (UTC)

What is dropped after each wave.Edit

Someone has changed my original table which was CORRECT and has now made it INCORRECT!

If someone see's it again and tries to change it back to being wrong, will you atleast explain why? ;P Thanks

Super restore potions

I think there was a major mess up, why aren't these potions shown? Why prayer potions over the super restore esp. when we are recommended to use sara. potions? Super prayer are better than super restores at raw prayer restoration. Additionally you're not very strapped for prayer points in this minigame especially considering that flasks let you take 1.5x as many doses in the same space. Regular prayer potions are the most cost effective for prayer restoration. Saradomin brews lowering stats is not a significant issue because it is assumed anybody high enough level to be seriously attempting this will have overloads, which frequently reboost stats to the maximum values; you'd have to chug brews nonstop to actually get your stats lowered.

ETD Edit

Can anyone edit in about how long it would take to get through all of the waves for an average-ish player? And maybe how long it is to 30, since some people still probably need the early bird. Thanks. ~

im maxed cb but for 97 range, and 99 sum and pray, i use storm of arma with cr and rune crossbow with broad bolts and ovl's throught the entire 37 waves. It takes me about 2 hours flat. i lulegag here and there and take my time tho as to not mess up. i am using bandos armor and gano only. no range armor. Har-Aken's HP Edit

Har-Aken has 13,000hp. Assuming you get 12 hits in with Storm of Armadyl before it dives underwater, and each max hit is around 900 (I found it to be 888 max hit splat with 99 magic, 30% damage bonus and the Magic crystal), there is no way you can do over 25,000 damage if you find it right when it emerges. Assuming you hit your max of around 900 each time, you won't be able to do 1/4th of the assumed 50K hp - barely over 1/5th. I have beat the fight kiln and know this for a fact that it is definetely 13,000hp.Angelic Rays 04:55, February 29, 2012 (UTC)

Seven fight waves during the questEdit

Is it me, or the fight waves during the quest are much easier then it's made out to be?

I honestly am not saying this to brag, but I've completed the seven waves without using any food and with 4 doses of sanfew serum and not maxed out prayer. In fact, I completed the quest without banking during the caves part.

I am maxed melee with Turmoil, 90 Ranged and was using Soul Split as my sole healing source during the waves. I prayed (when I had prayer) against range/magic and whenever possible I'd make it so the melee-only monsters were stuck behind walls. I'd prayer switch between Deflect Missiles and Soul Split to heal. For the seventh wave, I killed all monsters except the Champion, which I hugged using the L shaped wall at the northern-most part of the battlefield.

The fight waves in the quest are only mildly difficult. I defeated them easily with a dragonfire shield, chaotic rapier, barrows armor, fury, about 10 sharks, and 3 prayer potions. I had 59 prayer and low 80s for all combat stats. And I was just tanking everything and not bothering to trap the meleers. FiendOfLight (talk) 19:26, March 7, 2012 (UTC)

Tokhaar-dill attackEdit

I found that on multiple accounts of vids and of my own use that the invulnerablety crystal DOES indeed work to block there attacks making wave 28 50 times easyer if you know how to lure them that is.Defence cape Blue pyro01 Quest point cape 07:13, March 30, 2012 (UTC)

after forther testing it does not actualy block it. I just got super lucky >..> Defence cape Blue pyro01 Quest point cape 07:13, March 30, 2012 (UTC)

Perhaps the most thorough Fight Kiln Guide video out there.

Map of Area Edit

Why isn't there a map of the arena added? That would allow some players to better understand some of the suggested safespots mentioned before actually entering the arena and trying to figure out then what was meant.

Waves Edit

In the Waves section, some of the Overhead prayer recommendations say "Flinch". Anyone care to tell what that actually means? Nothing special here. (talk) 22:37, October 14, 2012 (UTC)

Kerbs86 (talk) 02:23, October 17, 2012 (UTC)Har-Aken's headKerbs86 (talk) 02:23, October 17, 2012 (UTC)

I have sucessfully compelted the fight kiln for the first time today on my 6th try of the kiln. I made it to the final boss on the 5th try but sadly only got him down to 1/4 health :(

Throughout the fight kiln I had the runescape sounds turned on and both times I fought Har-Aken I noticed something quite interesting. There is a very distinguishable sound effect when the head surfaces from the lava. It is similar to if not the exact same sound effect that occurrs when a strykewyrm (be it ice, jungle, or desert) pops up out of the ground.

Perhaps the wiki could add this tip to turn runescape sounds on. For me, having the sounds on and hearing when the head came up was easier than using a timer. Also, someone needs to verify if the sound is directional (i.e. if the sound is louder on your left speaker then that's the direction where the head would be.) I believe it is directional, but I could be mistaken as I only fought him twice.
