In particular, players do not need the Battered key. I can certainly testify that I didn't need it. Is there any reason why some people seem to think it is required? --Saftzie (talk) 07:06, March 3, 2011 (UTC)

Elemental Workshop V Edit

Who wants to start the speculation on the skills needed for EW V? ME! Nature sounds like Farming, but what the heck would Astral be, Magic? Just wondering. BTW, is there only one solution for the EW IV puzzles, or are they unique to each player? -- TheLastWordSword 22:50, March 1, 2011 (UTC)

Trailer Music?Edit

The music from the trailer sounds almost identical to this one other song on RuneScape, but I can't quite put my finger on it. Anyone know what it is?Krayfish 21:34, March 3, 2011 (UTC)

I think its a shortened version of logical progression (the music unlocked in the quest). Hasaan5 01:08, March 6, 2011 (UTC)

Definetely it's logical progression but there's another song it sounds like. It has less of mechanical feel to it.Krayfish 13:32, March 6, 2011 (UTC)

Programming Edit

For the more computer science interested of you guys. I tried getting instruction cubes from the machine by issuing the "GET MIND" instruction while an instruction cube was at the mind token. but the automation says "Automation error: Invalid action for this token".

The same goes for address tokens. So the shelves can't really be thought of as hard drive space :-)

You'd run into trouble if the mind or put cubes were not "loaded"

Anyone else chuckle whene they input instrructions "break law"?

Yup; in mine, right after that I did that, I input "get fire"-d. (It worked too)

I just figured out something kind of intersting about the automaton cutscenes: If you have a pet following you when you activate the cutscene, (you must drop it after you come through the door from the mind/body room) your pet will follow the automaton...My best guess as to why this is is that for the programming of this part of the game they actually made the character into the automaton. Why this would be I'm not quite sure, but I just found that interesting.

They did something similar with the Wise Old Man is Swan Song. Not sure why they did it now, considering something they said in a dev blog(I can't remember the quote, or which one, it had something to do with code improvements). Also, please sign your comments. I'm not sure what the Chaos Elemental says in #46 to hint at a new Elemental Workshop quest, but upon deciphering its third pargraph in #45:

"Gold to half magnesium, at oxygen, half sodium,

Carbon monoxide, sulphur, half manganese. I see

Carbon, hydrogen, a oxygen, half scandium

Argon, molybdenum, you are half antimony."

It reads:

"AUTOMATON

COSMIC

CHAOS

ARMOURS"
