Details[]

Examine text is, "It eats monsters for breakfast." Shinydarkrai94 05:16, November 3, 2011 (UTC)

Can you summon a dreadnip while you have a familiar?

Like steel titan + dreadnip

Also I heard they can be used at corp, does that mean they can get hits off at corp without healing corp beast? (since they run away fast)

Make a list of monsters with which it can't be used. Sunspear (melee)JampoloBlisterwood polearm 01:06, November 4, 2011 (UTC)

will other things start attacking them back like they do with familers, like will a boss get distracted and start attacking them or can it not be used on bosses like jad? 70.245.245.142 17:32, November 5, 2011 (UTC)

someone put in the boss monsters (probably quest only boss monsters) that dreadnip cant attack in monsters dreadnip cant attack section along with players even thought they arnt monsters 70.246.133.16 01:05, November 19, 2011 (UTC)

when you die with them do they appear at grave or do they scurry off like chinchompas? 70.246.133.16 23:59, November 28, 2011 (UTC)

Useful information?[]

Here's a link to a video demonstrating dreadnips on mith drags, and the discussion on the video could help improve this page.

can you use dreadnips on soulwars avatars? If so can the dreadnip hurt them before they are invinsible? ~neokyle

Hmm intresting point neo, i sw a lot so once i get some dreadnips i will find out for you. Even then if the ava is stomping you(which it has to be for the dreadnip to work) you might not last long regardless... Primal Link 12:30, November 9, 2011 (UTC)

Your answer is... they cant even be taken into soul wars Primal Link 13:54, November 10, 2011 (UTC)

6.2 seconds?[]

it says the attack speed is 6.2 seconds, yet the game engine would only allow an attack during a tick. so surely this is 6.0 or 6.6 seconds? Mojohaza1 00:20, November 18, 2011 (UTC)

Damage[]

After over 2500 of these I've only seen it hit around ~425 damage, so has anyone actually seen hits of 500+? --7821291 11:28, November 21, 2011 (UTC)

Frost Dragon Shield[]

Dreadnips will deal full damage while frost dragons are using their blue orb attack...on you. I have had a dreadnip kill me there, and no, it was not my own attack. Someone clarify this in the article please.

Dreadnip on Dreadnip[]

Has anyone tried attacking a Dreadnip with another Dreadnip?

Keeping in mind that it can't be taken into PvP, how the hell to you propose to attack a Dreadnip with another Dreadnip

Seems impossible. You must be attacking a monster to target a dreadnip against it, and dreadnips can't be attacked. Inelcirc 15:25, March 5, 2012 (UTC)

Combat Xp from Dreadnips damage?[]

"This attack earns experience for the last melee attack style used." Can anyone confirm this or is it always Controlled XP ?

I Can confirm, as I'm using accurate, and so are my dreadnips. 108.196.196.33 17:51, February 27, 2012 (UTC)

Sorry dreadnips only give constitution xp, they DO NOT give melee xp. I can confirm this because when i stop attacking the monster with my dreadnip it only gives constitution xp. Deathero 23:57, March 17, 2012 (UTC)

hmm after a bity more testing it seams that they do give melee xp sometimes but I think when using polypore they seem to only give constitution Ill try more testing...Deathero 02:32, March 23, 2012 (UTC)

Boss targeting[]

Does a hit from a dreadnip make a boss focus on the player or will he remain to be focussed on the tank?

What does this mean?[]

"100 more can be obtained for every 5 kills over 450 achieved in the tower, up to 1500." If it's saying that you can only ever obtain a maximum of 1500 dreadnips, then I'm pretty sure it's incorrect. If it's saying something else, then it needs to be rewritten. Either way it's a rather confusing sentence. --Jamamon (talk) 00:38, October 20, 2013 (UTC)

Every 5 more boss kills gives you one "reward": one of the gloves or 100 dreadnips. But you can only save up to 15 rewards pending. After that, additional kills will not increase the number of times you can claim a reward, until you actually claim a reward. (E.g. you cannot kill 1000 bosses in a row, to then claim 200*100 dreadnips at once => you'll still only be able to claim 15 sets). IP83.101.44.209 (talk) 04:25, October 20, 2013 (UTC)
