Advertisment-like at end[]

The end of this article sounds much like an advertisement. Fix it if you could.

New Screenshot?[]

In the "runetek 5" development diary i found this screenshot http://devblog.runescape.com/images/game_engine/runetek_1_screen.jpg at this location http://devblog.runescape.com/view_post.ws?post_id=27

Would that count as a devious MUD screen?  —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Starfy (talk).

Yeah it would, add it somewhere on the article ;P 89.240.16.63 17:27, October 8, 2009 (UTC)

UPDATING[]

Well I added much info here, I like to figure it out and I'm getting 99 cooking, so: I'm gonna find all sources. --Zorak plorak 14:16, November 29, 2009 (UTC)

Found original website[]

I found the original sleepy.fitz.cam.ac.uk website via the WayBack machine. Could an admin please edit the article to include this URL? http://replay.waybackmachine.org/19990125092020/http://sleepy.fitz.cam.ac.uk/

Unfortunately the website was not archived during the one week that DeviousMUD was on the site. Even if it was, though, the link probably wouldn't have worked.

Incomplete template[]

Are there even official Jagex citations that still exist? Hofmic Talk 21:15, January 14, 2012 (UTC)

Images of Andrew's website[]

I was the one that took those images of Andrew's old website. I originally uploaded them to my website, http://djpailo.tripod.com. They seemed to have been added on the wiki (by another individual) at this point (June 2014): https://runescape.fandom.com/wiki/DeviousMUD?diff=27764500&oldid=10759738

You can see the webpage where I uploaded it here, dated 2009: https://web.archive.org/web/20091109224919/http://djpailo.tripod.com/deviousmud2.html

I don't know if my hard disk properly preserved the dates, but the date of the image on my folder is Sept 2007. I have the exact day and time actually, but I will not post it here.

I also took images of the website where Andrew states that the game took 7 months to take, one of Andrew's "about me" page, which shows a picture of Andrew Gower with some text containing his Cambridge email address at the time and also a short bio. I took an image of a "what is deviousMud" paragraph from the website. I also have images showing Lightning's post on tip it on who played the deviousMud beta and a post by a Jagex moderator discussing deviousMud. The image of 7 months was posted onto my website but imageshack went down, so whoever downloaded my images and posted it here was not able to get it. I don't think I ever uploaded the "about me" picture.

I also took many images of the old runescape website, the old highscores, including many which show the first level 99 players, but I did not upload these at the time. I had planned to do it, but never got round to it. I will probably not post them now.
