The 'Dragon Sword'? Edit

Is it just me, or is this a carbon copy of the Dragon Scimitar, only for stabbing? Assuming the stats listed are correct, it appears the only difference is that the stab and slash bonuses are flipped. Aldra 16:45, March 28, 2011 (UTC)

This weapon will cost a lot more than dragon scimitar soon as it's kind of like a lower level version of the rapier. That's my guess anyway. AndI doubt they'll make dragon or any other metal types of rapier :P   Swizz ^Talk   Events!   17:28, March 28, 2011 (UTC)

Special AttackEdit

Stacks with other boosts?Edit

Is the atk/str/def boost a showable boost?

If so does it stack with potions and other boosting abilities?

If so, this might effectively increase the highest possible max hit on all weapons. If not, meh :(

Special Attack: Brine Sabre Copy Edit

This weapon's special attack is identical to the Brine Sabre's, apparently, except for the fact that it can also be used above water. That's an easy way to think of it. Zack Buster 21:48, March 28, 2011 (UTC)

New worn picture Edit

Add more high gold drops, make them even easier, and why not make them sell for 4x as much while wearing a Ring of Wealth. Then next week, we can have free PHat day to celebrate, jagex can add more rare drops from goblins and we can all turn our bots to "on". ... Confirm my glitch?Edit

every single spec (out of a set of 10) is a max. I normally miss them, but I'm hitting straight maxes at the fire Giants int he Waterfall Dungeon. Can I get confirmation this is for everyone?--50.42.147.212 22:36, September 24, 2011 (UTC)

yeah its constant max, and afterwards if there is still a bonus to your stats, the max on the next spec is higher.

i find that this weapon is a mazing for pvp because the spec is accurate, and it hits high, also the stat bonus pretty much owns the other player. using the abby whip after using brackish blade spec is reccomended unless fighting a monster weak to stab.

also using a dragon defender greatly raises the stab bonus to this weapon, making it even more effective.

Special attack always max hit?Edit

Yesterday at my slayer task (fire giants) I used this blade, and every time I used the special attack, it was my max hit. I'm sure this was not so some tie ago, also there's nothing about it in this article. Is it a bug, or a hidden update maybe? 178.84.48.155 13:45, September 26, 2011 (UTC)

Same for me. I was training on rock crabs and it is either the max hit, or it misses. I think it doubles Attack and then hits the max hit (if the attack hits), then takes 2.5% of the damage dealt and adds to attack, strength and defence. This does not apply in PvP. I tried it in Castle Wars, and instead of the max hit, it will be a normal hit.

I am always hitting my max on 'rum'-pumped crabs as well.

I've used the Brackish Blade for about a week (but a fair amount over that time) and I remember missing the special attack only once in maybe 300-400 times (?). I've probably missed a few more times than that and to be fair this was on Flesh Crawlers but it does seem to have a VERY high accuracy on the special. Also, even with really only having stab, I've had FAR more success with this weapon than with dragon longsword even against slash- and crush-weak monsters. It is VERY underappreciated as a weapon for players with 60 att but dont wanna do MM or Legends. Surprised it isn't more popular, as Ive yet to see another person with it and constantly have people ask me why I'm using a corrupt dragon scimmy.
