Rune Drops Edit

I just recieved 20 Soul runes today from a basilisk in the Fremennik slayer dungeon. Anyone else?

Charm drops Edit

Basilisks drop charms, at least in the Fremennik Slayer Dungeon. I haven't killed so many, but it looks like they drop charms about 50% of the time. I got 29 charms out of 58 kills on a slayer task -- 9 gold, 9 crimson, 11 green. Block7head 05:06, July 20, 2010 (UTC)

Crush vs. Slash Edit

I worked out the DPS for a D mace and D scim for myself at 75+ att and strength. D scim= 34.4, D mace=25.91. This makes me believe that, contrary to the page, the whip is more effective than a D baxe or D mace, despite their high slash defence.Sire Magelin 22:20, June 14, 2011 (UTC)

I'm inclined to agree - I've tried killing them with both dragon battleaxe on crush and a whip, and the whip is noticeably faster at killing them. Kingblah 15:01, October 25, 2011 (UTC)

Onyx BoltsEdit

ummm I just got 150 onyx bolts after only killing like 5 i have ring of wealth though.... so if anyone can add that : )

Today I got 41! noted clean toadflax herbs in one drop... Can it be a bug?

I got a Chaos talisman today... done close to 300 and never gotten one before so it could be a rare or very rare drop. No RoW.

There is a chance of obtaining a drop from the rare drop table without a ring of wealth. This is true of all items on the rare drop table, they have a small chance of dropping without the wealth, but for items that are affected by the row, such as the 41 noted toadflax, there is a very small chance, but a chance nonetheless Ciphrius Kane 00:06, January 25, 2012 (UTC)

Herp derp. Forgot they dropped from the rare drop table... disregard.

The rare drop table can trigger even without a ring of wealth. Having a ring of wealth on just makes the rare-drop-table drops more common. Chaos talismans and notes of 41 clean toadflax are on the rare drop table, and that's why you two got those drops. I hope that clears things up!  a proofreader ▸
