Collecting more info[]

I think there is more information that could go on this page, for example:

  • A table of the number of each monster type in each wave (is this random?)
  • The maximum number of points each role can gain (when I briefly applied for BAA, I was told that "eggs collected" maxes around 50, but the "eggs exploded" can keep increasing. In other words, as long as you can get your 50 eggs, it's best not to rush, as doing so might risk losing more points).
  • From the above, the maximum points obtainable in each wave (something to aim for :))
  • It would also be nice to verify the formulae for points earned.

It's possible that BAA has this information already, so I'll try asking them first. Failing that I will try to record scores and so on when I play BA, or (possibly more effective and fun :P) perhaps 5 wikiers could go on a data-collecting BA trip (I'm not really involved enough in the wiki community to know whether this would be feasible). I have updated some of the information in the page. I know that 11 failed attacks is -9 and 12 fails is -10. 56 eggs collected is 12 points and 57-60 eggs is 13. 60 eggs is the maximum counted, and as i have mentioned in my update of the page, regarding eggs exploded, they are not recoverable; any egg count lost is permanent.

the failed attacks formula works for all cases. im not entirely sure if the formula for egg points i entered is 100% correct, but it is closer than the previous one.

regarding the number of penance on each wave, i can give you all of the information about runner/healer numbers from memory and a little of the rangers/fighters. if i ever think about it ill try checking the rangers/fighters in the other waves. i am certain of the numbers listed.

Penance numbers.
Wave Rangers Fighters Runners Healers
1 4 (2+2) 4 (2+2) 2 (2+0) 2 (2+0)
2 4 5 3 (2+1) 3 (3+0)
3 4 (2+2) 3 (2+1)
4 4 (3+1) 4 (3+1)
5 5 (4+1) 5 (4+1)
6 6 (4+2) 6 (4+2)
7 6 (5+1) 7 (4+3)
8 7 (5+2) 7 (5+2)
9 9 (5+4) 8 (6+2)
10 6 (5+1) 7 (4+3)

the number to the left of '+' indicates the most that will be alive at any one time, the number to the right shows the amount that will only spawn after others have died. adding these 2 together gives the total for the wave. any without a + are just the totals as i do not know the max alive for those.

also it may be of interest to note that the wave 10 penance are exactly the same as wave 7 penance, including the numbers of them and ranger/fighter combat levels and LP. this is, of course, excluding the penance queen and penance spawn that appear only on 10.

also, im not sure, but wouldnt the penance numbers info be more appropriate somewhere on the main BA page? or maybe in strategies? Thejumperkin 22:40, June 14, 2011 (UTC)

- I got 2 mahogany planks as reward from high lvl gambling???

Do the low, medium, and high gambles have worse and better chances of a Dragon Chainbody?[]

I love Runewiki. But your information on the subjest states each of the gambles (low, medium, and high), each have the "Very Rare" chance of receiving a Dragon Chain. Does this mean if I were to spend all my points on nothing but a series of High Gambles, it DOES NOT increase the chance over Low Gambles of getting a d-chain? So then they are all equal chances of getting it, even though they each cost different amounts of points? If so, I should spend all my points from here on out on Low Gambles instead of going for High Gambles because its the same chance of getting the d-chain right? And I could save more points and gamble more times, correct?

Thanks,

Level Upgrade section[]

There are 2 different rewards listed for the Defender in the Level Upgrade section. One describes an increased lure range, and the summary table describes additional logs when a green egg is used on the defender. Which is it?  —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 71.225.33.193 (talk) on 7 March 2017 at 21:02.

Mad Ramblings[]

There is nothing on the Mad Ramblings (The Account of Aesa Fellsdottir (Parts 1 + 2)) anywhere. I don't know how it should be put into the article, but I wanted to bring it up. Each book costs 25 Honour Points in any role, for a total of 50 Honour Points, and buying and reading them is a requirement for the Master Quest Cape.

Hey, I've added both of them into the article, nice catch thanks! --User:KelseW/Signature 20:57, January 10, 2018 (UTC)
