Talk:Al Kharid

From the RuneScape Wiki, the wiki for all things RuneScape

The Elid is a river that stretches from North to South. How exactly does it have a north side? JalYt-Xil-Vimescarrot 08:06, 10 September 2006 (UTC)

I think it means the portion of the Kharidian Desert north of the source of the Elid. -- Couchpotato99 (talk) (contribs) 16:12, 10 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Mine

I think the Al-Kharid mine has 5 silver rocks, too. If memory serves, the mine north of Al-Kharid is the largest above-ground silver source in the non-members worlds. Can I amend the intro to include silver as a mineral mined there?

Sure, the detailed info is in Al-Kharid Mine anyway, but go for it. --Eucarya 00:34, 16 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Silk

Back in the days when I was a noob (my usage, not yours) I used to make money by buying silk at Al Kharid and selling it to the general store. Can this no longer be done? JalYt-Xil-Vimescarrot 16:48, 30 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Proposed merger

I'm proposing that the article on Al-Kharid Mine be merged into this article as a dedicated section. I think it seems too short to justify an article by itself, but opinions are welcome as always.  :-) Leevclarke 19:05, 6 October 2007 (UTC)
