Unknown. They didn't give the date. Read the blog. We do know it will be within one to two weeks vefore chistmas, so this Monday or next it should be out. Mind you should. It may not nessisarily be out then, but on the schedule they usuallu use for holliday events it is the Monday two weeks before the actual holiday. Hope that helps. 72.49.27.34 18:37, December 13, 2009 (UTC)
It's just something small, but in the article it's mentioned that the young boy from the Christmas card is sitting on the old man's back. Is he really? Hippodo 3113 19:13, December 19, 2009 (UTC)
Maybe not, changed. C Tengtalk 19:23, December 19, 2009 (UTC)
I added information about jack frost creating ice scultures and other art stuff from the imp magnus, can somone elaborate it well cuz im sort of in a hurry right now :DZazzyo 15:48, December 20, 2009 (UTC)
Have snow imps been saying that since last year, or just recently? C Tengtalk 22:08, December 20, 2009 (UTC)
Actually I think this is new cuz last time I talked I dont remember anything like this .. probz a intentional leak :D or probably it was always there and they created the new storyline around it? nd wats the wierd music? can someone tell.. is it the new bard skill :P ?Zazzyo 07:11, December 21, 2009 (UTC)
Thanks for adding; I've cited it. But just so you know, not all snow imps are named Magnus. You got your snow imp name randomly in the 2008 Christmas event.
Also, why is everybody adding a ton of spaces between paragraphs? Let's just leave it the way it is. C Tengtalk 11:25, December 21, 2009 (UTC)
Where is JAck FRost we need a better walkthrough i will help but...
Ppi802 15:51, December 21, 2009 (UTC)
Jack Frost isn't in this event. He's seen, but not an important part of the event, so he shouldn't be included in the walkthrough. C Tengtalk 15:33, April 23, 2010 (UTC)
It says that we can start the event by talking to Queen of Snow, but I didnt talk to her. I went in, I found out that my imp from last year waiting for me, and go straight to the Santa... bad_fetustalk 18:08, December 21, 2009 (UTC)

This is not a general discussion page. In spite of RS:DDD, I will delete any discussion that continues this "thread" that does not directly relate to editing this wiki page. If you want to make a general comment about the Christmas event (including bragging about how easy/difficult this quest can be), please use the wiki forums. --Robert Horning 21:44, December 21, 2009 (UTC)
Seasonal events are always easy. C Tengtalk 15:34, April 23, 2010 (UTC)
The "Trivia" section is simply getting out of hand here. A few little tidbits of information are certainly useful, but the couple dozen remarks here are getting to the point of sheer speculation and even mis-information. I'm not sure where to draw the line here, but there certainly needs to be some content culled out of this section.
There is the Forum:Runescape:Trivia policy that does address this issue as a general overall policy initiative, but we should do something to this specific article as well and get some consensus. Perhaps some sort of verification of all bits of trivia? I'm not sure, but this article certainly seems like an excellent test case on what should and should not be included in a trivia section, and what sort of standard should be required in terms of verifiability for that "fact" to be included. --Robert Horning 01:48, December 22, 2009 (UTC)
This article now has a spin-off article at 2009 Christmas event/Glitches. I'd like to see what the rationale for starting this stub of an article is about, and what is intended to be accomplished by this sub-article. For myself, I'd like to "bring it back" into this article, except perhaps with some cleanup/culling of the really minor stuff. More significantly, I'm trying to figure out why this needs to be put in as a separate article, particularly when there is no discussion about splitting this article up. --Robert Horning 21:02, December 22, 2009 (UTC)
I agree that it should be part of the main article. --Br3tt0wnz 00:12, December 23, 2009 (UTC)
Agree and full support, I even made a comment on that sub-article talk page.. didnt read ur post here :D.. I am bringing it back now. If anyone opposes please place your points(reasons for not merging it back ) here. --Zazzyo 15:29, December 23, 2009 (UTC)
how do you get yor ice imp back if you lose it? because i logged back and it was gone, i tried talking to the imps that are not following anyone but it wont let me, i can`t even get near them
it would be great if you could help me out
thanks
Do you have the ice amulet from last year? That way you can simply summon him, although you should be able to find him standing around too. Hippodo 3113 15:20, December 24, 2009 (UTC)
Did anyone else have to talk to NPCs at the party to learn about Ebenezer Scourge's past? I never got the option to talk to the Queen of Snow after I put the ghost robes on. --Iiii I I I 22:41, December 23, 2009 (UTC)
...I'm an idiot. --Iiii I I I 14:33, December 24, 2009 (UTC)
An item was put in the trivia section: "The Ghost costume was made darker by Jagex a few hours after release due to it looking similar to the robes of the Ku Klux Klan." I added a [citation needed] marker. I doubt this is true, let alone that it would be source-able, i.e. that Jagex would mentioned that they changed something because it resembled Klu Klux Klan robes...
Anyone know? --Effexor 08:07, December 24, 2009 (UTC)
Template:Title keeps being added to change the name of this article to A Christmas Warble. Why? If you want to change the title, move the page. C Tengtalk 16:56, December 24, 2009 (UTC)
On the news, the event is called "A Christmas Warble" with "Christmas 2009" in parenthesis.
Since the start of 2009, Jagex has been giving events offical names, and the articles should reflect this. I think that it it should be moved back to "A Christmas Warble". (It would also be a good idea to do this for Web of Shadows and Splitting Heirs as well.)
--NightgunnerTalk 18:08, December 24, 2009 (UTC)
I agree, doesn't this whole wiki like to have names and such EXACTLY how Jagex has it? scooties 18:10, December 24, 2009 (UTC)
I also agree. I'm going to bring this up on the Yew Grove. C Tengtalk 00:36, December 25, 2009 (UTC)
I don't think it's good idea to move this page, all the other events were 2001 Christmas event, 2002 Christmas event, so why should this be A Christmas Warble? -Penko 12:05, December 29, 2009 (UTC)
Because that's what it says in the Quest List. RS:STYLE#TITLES. C Tengtalk 21:45, December 30, 2009 (UTC)
Well, would you rather be consistant with the wikia or with JaGex? I think we should leave the page name as 2009 event, but redirect if you type "A Christmas Warble", if it doesn't already. Then leave a note on the title or first line or so mentioning the actual name. I'd rather stay consistant with the wikia.
--EverythingRuneScapeHQ-Cnecomicz 21:50, December 30, 2009 (UTC)
Well, I'd rather be consistant with Jagex... Why leave a note saying what the actual name is? Wikipedia only does that because of technical reasons. C Tengtalk 21:52, December 30, 2009 (UTC)
I dunno, maybe I just think it'd be confusing for some to see 2006 event, 2007, 2008, Christmas Warble. Perhaps rename it 2009 event (A Christmas Warble)? Just throwing out suggestions.
--EverythingRuneScapeHQ-Cnecomicz 21:56, December 30, 2009 (UTC)
I understand why this section was deleted, but shouldn't the skillcape problem be at least mentioned? Half the threads on the forums were about them, and Jagex addressed it a lot. C Tengtalk 02:25, December 31, 2009 (UTC)
I'm not sure if it should be readded or not but I can say without a doubt those Ex members were acting like complete babies. You can easily become a member again at anytime but you only have a few weeks to do this event(even if you have no credit card most major stores such as Walmart and Target sell prepaid cards). This issue is almost as pathetic as lvl 3's wanting to wear slayer skill capes when they didn't even earn them to begin with(the only way is to bum exp from soul wars and they think they earned the right to use the cape because they have lvl 99 slayer when all they did join a game then sit in the graveyard doing nothing except using bandages to restore the timer.) pyrolord 18:49, December 31, 2009 (UTC)
I readded it, but made it shorter and more relevant to the article. C Tengtalk 02:00, April 19, 2010 (UTC)
The news items "A Christmas Warble (Christmas 2009)" and "Christmas Cards and Blog" have disappeared from RuneScape's news archive. I have contacted Mod Ajd and Mod Zapp via Twitter multiple times, but Jagex has still not fixed this (see this forum thread). It has been months now, so I have changed the links. For "A Christmas Warble (Christmas 2009)", I used a forum thread from RuneScape's News & Announcements forum [1]. For "Christmas Cards and Blog", since there is no forum thread for it, I have cited RuneScape's Facebook note for it [2]. C Tengtalk 04:20, March 14, 2010 (UTC)
I have been bold and removed the "Glitches" section. Almost all of the glitches were minor, uninteresting facts. I have, however, kept the info about the candy cane glitch and moved it to a "Glitch" section. C Tengtalk 02:02, April 19, 2010 (UTC)
