Switch A is one of two strange switches in the Wilderness, east to the Chaos Altar, that may which may be pulled, which will start a tally to record your 'personal record' before leaving the wilderness by any means (be it logging out, teleporting, hopping over the Wilderness wall or getting killed).
It must be pulled first in order to be able to pull Switch B, its counterpart. The two are located in some ruins to the east of the Chaos Altar.
Pulling switch A, and then switch B ten times is an easy task in the Wilderness Tasks set.
