20% chance to bait a whopper fish, gaining additional Fishing experience even though you won't land it. Lasts 4 hours.

The superior whopper-baiting scrimshaw is an item that can be made with the Fletching skill at level 85 once all four scroll fragments of whopper-bating have been retrieved from the Player-owned port, using 10 ancient bones.

When equipped (requiring level 80 fishing), it offers a 20% chance at increased experience while Fishing by hooking a larger-than-normal fish (which is not caught). Fish that get away do not count towards a Daily Challenge.

This is the Fishing equivalent of the superior rock-crushing and superior log-splitting scrimshaws.
