Summoning pouches

Summoning pouches are used to summon familiars using the Summoning skill. A Summoning pouch is created by infusing the essence of a creature known as a familiar:

• an empty pouch
• a number of Spirit shards
• one of four Charms: Gold, Green, Crimson, or Blue.
• a tertiary component that embodies the familiar in some way: for example, wolf bones are needed to summon a spirit wolf

Note: The "Create XP" column will help a player achieve the most experience from the charms, while the "Profit/XP" column will help those interested in spending the least amount of money.

The High Level Alchemy value is directly related to the number of shards:

• High Level Alchemy value = (Shards x 15) + 254

The Bogrog shard swap column shows the cost of the shards swapped for comparison with Hi-alch or GE Price; it is usually better to Hi-alch or sell on GE with lower amounts of shard except for some of the higher levels where a player can save money by swapping with Bogrog. The player's Summoning level must be up to 6 levels higher than the pouch level in order to swap shards. The number of shards swapped is 70% of the number used in creation. The value is 25 coins per shard saved by swapping with Bogrog instead of buying new shards.

GE Prices are updated automatically when the Exchange prices are updated except for 3 noted with '~' in front of price; see Talk.
