Quests monsters are monsters fought during quests to enter the next stage in the quest or complete them. Usually these monsters are fairly hard to kill due to special circumstances such as in Dream Mentor, you are not allowed to use prayer. Currently the strongest quest monster is Kree'arra from The World Wakes. The longest lasting quest monster is Nomad from Nomad's Requiem with 1147 days, and the previous longest lasting monster holding the title was The Inadequacy from Dream Mentor, holding this title for 561 days.
