The strange face is a face more than twice the height of a regular human, carved in the wall directly opposite of the entrance of the Dominion Tower. It gives instructions about the tower, and when speaking, no chathead is shown. Instead, a voice can be heard saying the things the strange face says.
History[]
The history of the strange face can be partially explained by finding journal pages while collecting rewards from the Dominion Tower, which can be read here. According to a select few pages, it was created by someone named The Founder with powerful magic. The Founder's brother was mortally injured (how or by who was not specified) and The Founder offered to bind him to the tower. The brother accepted, and (with the help of their mother, who was an accomplished sorceress) The Founder's brother became one with the Dominion Tower.
When talking to the strange face, if the player speaks of the tower as a separate object, the strange face will correct him or her that they are speaking about him, and that himself and the tower are one and the same.

- The strange face's voice can even be heard when all sounds are off.
- It seems to wear a helmet with the Dominion Tower's symbol on it.
- If you perform the Dance emote while in a fight it says, "Someone likes to party!" and the strange face comes in on the left side of the screen, with what appears to be a puzzled expression. Similar messages appear, if you use the Think or Blow Kiss emotes, wear a Runefest hood or wield a fun weapon in a battle.
- The strange face's examine text may be a reference to the dreadnips' examine text, "It eats monsters for breakfast."
