A Stone Slab is mined in the TzHaar City mines, and gives 40 mining experience when mined. Level 41 Mining is required. If you use a chisel on this with a hammer in your inventory, you get 20 crafting experience and a pillar. It is used in the TokTz-Ket-Dill quest. 5 stone slabs are also required to build a Volcanic habitat in a Menagerie in a Player-owned house using the construction skill at level 77.
It is also tied for the second-heaviest item you can have in the game. It has the same weight as a Barrel of coal-tar, and if you hold a full inventory of this, you can weigh up to 896kg.
Although these stones are said to be obsidian, the slabs can not be smelted and smithed to make items.
Accessible only after getting permission during the TokTz-Ket-Dill quest, this mine is located through the passage in the northeast corner of TzHaar past the TokTz-Ket-Dill Mine. Each vein can be mined twice before it is empty.
There are 16 veins from which stone slabs may be mined with a fast respawn time. The nearest bank is the TzHaar city bank.
