The Steel range is a piece of furniture that can be built in the Kitchen of a player-owned house with the Construction skill.

Players can prepare most food on the range using the Cooking skill.

Building a steel range requires at least 34 Construction. When made, it gives 120 experience.

It should be noted that this is not a complete range, and offers a limit to food player can cook on it. Foods, such as Gnome cooking, cannot be done, and can only be cooked on the Fancy range
