The Steel mace is stronger than the iron mace. It requires 5 attack to wield. It can only be used in combat. Players can make a steel mace with the smithing skill at level 32 using one steel bar, giving the player 37.5 smithing experience. Players can purchase this mace from Flynn's Mace Market in Falador. As a mace, it gives prayer bonuses as well as combat bonuses. It is rarely used in combat.
